Drugs in GTAV

Drug trades were always involved in the plot to most of the GTA games. GTAIII universe involved Ricardo Diaz's coke distribution ring, which affected the plot for GTASA, GTAVC, GTAIII. As for the GTAIV universe, there was a massive amount of heroin smuggled by Chinese mobsters that somehow caused trouble for all the protagonists, but all of it eventually got destroyed. Which drug(s) do you think will play a huge part in GTAV?

 

For me, I believe that the ecstasy ring will play a huge part of the game mainly in the city core, meth being in Trevor's area, and weed into the suburbs. Come to think of it, I don't think R* has ever made a GTA game where ecstasy is involved. Dude there was a ridiculous amount of people asking if I had ecstasy the last time I went to an underground party in LA. Then again, what are the odds of seeing an asian guy with dreads. #hipster

I really think they have have a "Dope Wars" style element to this, with V being all about the Benji's... it makes perfect sense!

Yeah, they should def have plenty of coke and E being based on L.A. Heroin yeah but its a grey area. Weed and acid in the country areas. I hope we get involved in smuggling, distribution etc

Weed and Speed/Adrenaline. Remember the slow mo pill in GTA 3? Smoking speed could have the same effect.

well, if I remember correctly trevor does meth, and crank is cheap meth, so I'd say meth.
