Hvitdverg
Just a curiosity, do they ask for ID when you go out and buy the game, I mean in case you look "young"? Or they just sell it out to 12 years kids that go there with their friends or parents? I sell to minors. I judge each and everyone, by their behavior. If they are 15 and look and act mature, i'll let them buy the game normally. If i think the kid is a gangster, or trouble. I tell him straight no, bring your parents. Show me that you are mature enough to play the game, and I'll sell it to you
S1LV3R_W0LF
So by law you don't need to follow the game rating? I mean I know the more you sell the better but in my County if someone in a store is caught selling any product, including video games, cigars, alcohol or anything that is set to older people, they can get in big trouble. Also taking into account the way you "classify" the people you see in your store, if they are already bullies, or look like they are part of a gang or troublemakers, the game won't teach them anything new. Hvitdverg
So by law you don't need to follow the game rating? There is no law that says people under 18 can't buy a game with the age 18 on it. It's a recommendation here in Norway. It's up to the seller if they want to sell it to them or not. My boss always asks for ID, if they say no. He asks, will we get in trouble with your parents if we sell you the game? The kid says no, and that's it. I usually never sell to people in the age 12 to 14. But from 15 to 17, I might sell you the game. Depending on what kind of game. Call of duty? f*ck not that strict. GTA? I would be a little more strict, based on the content of the game. I've been playing GTA since I was about 8 myself, and I toke no damage from it. So I base much of my sales on my own experience. People who can not make eye contact with me while buying a product, and is underage are doomed. I'll never sell a game to a minor if he can't even talk for himself or act mature. uzi 9mm
yh mine got pre ordered the day it was made available. i just happened to have the right funds at the time, and lucky i did coz atm im in a bit of a sh*t position. the benefits are that you may get the game a day or 2 early i guess other obvious benefits are the fact that you wont have to leave your house and go stand in a queue, a lot of hassle avoided. cp1dell
I've pre-ordered. If I'm correct, they ship it out a tad early so it reaches the destination just in time for release - so isn't there a chance that you might get it a little bit early? I can see that as a slight advantage.
Ex Hellraiser
The perk I get from preordering it is that I don't have to waste my time and gas money to drive to the store to get it when I can just open my mailbox and boom, new game waiting for me.
