RedDagger
I'm surprised how blind some of the people here really are, didn't you see the word "DLC"??? In case you don't even know what a DLC is I'll just explain it to you: A DLC means a downloadable content, which is an add-on to the original game (therefore it's NOT included in the original game) and it's pure optional, you DON'T have to download it if you don't like it and/or don't want to spend the money. So please quit yelling. A Zombie DLC would be a great idea and if you don't like it simply ignore it, at least that way those who do like it can play it. You SHOULD NOT force the others to accept your opinions on something that is pure optional. And instead it takes up the space for another kind of DLC that would be better. Yes, they could make another DLC not zombie related, but wouldn't it be better to have 2 good, original DLCs than a good one and some zombie thing? GTA 360
Yes please, nothing more original than more zombies. I agree, and there's nothing more realistic or fun too. Seriously, if some idiots want to buy into this zombie crap than fair enough, but keep it to DLC so normal people don't have to play sh*t.

If V contains anything supernatural, sci-fi etc then I'd hate it. It doesn't matter if it's in the main game or dlc, if it's released by R* then it's officially part of the GTA universe. Why not dinosaurs, or aliens, or flying cars, or superheroes. It's a slippery slope that would end in GTA being compared to Saints Row. We've got zombies in the Red Dead Redemption franchise, why can't you lot just be happy with that or the hundreds of other zombie related games out there. If R* want to make a proper zombie related game then fine. Just don't shoehorn it into a franchise where it doesn't belong.

jamieleng
snip They did it with RDR, so I dont see how it would be that far fetched Because to most of the people who bought RDRedemption, it was the first game in the franchise (Revolver was pretty wacky as well), therefore it had no established canon or universe. Plus zombies in the Wild West was a pretty novel concept which hadn't been done before (to my knowledge). Yes San Andreas had some strange green goo & a futuristic jetpack, but that was as weird as it got. We won't be seeing anything like that in V I'm sure. Yes, they could make another DLC not zombie related, but wouldn't it be better to have 2 good, original DLCs than a good one and some zombie thing? That's a 2 way street. People would rather have 2 not zombie related DLC's, and people would rather have 1 of each. Either way, you're not going to make everyone happy. However, zombies are tremendously popular (note all the topics) and that would increase their profits. It would appeal to zombie fanatics that don't own the game. In GTA 4, I would have rather had TBoGT and Undead Nightmare (which has been transported to liberty city) than TBoGT and TLAD (which in my opinion was terrible). And to everyone saying it's not original: So what? Nothing is original these days. You should all stop using phones and computers, since they're not original. You should all stop playing GTA, since it's not original. I mean, they're even visiting an old area! How unoriginal can you get!? Now, you see how retarded ^^^ sounds? Exactly. Stop using originality as an excuse. It's retarded. Look at the Last Of Us, a highly anticipated game. It has zombies in it. How about the Walking Dead? Zombie show and probably one of the best/most popular on T.V. They keep coming out with zombie movies, and they're always popular. Or how about Dayz? Over a million people play it. One. Million. And it's just a mod! And just to add insult to injury, GTA isn't original, since there's tons of games with the name, so I guess we should just stop playing it and toss it aside, right? jamieleng: Are you serious? GTA isn't realistic. Actually, it's probably one of the most unrealistic games out there. Oh, and RDR had about the same amount of "realism" as GTA 4 had, and it had a zombie DLC that turned out to be a HUGE success. GTA IS NOT REALISTIC. You have no right to berate or call someone childish just because they want something that YOU DONT. Thats the whole purpose of video games is to appeal to different gamers by giving A BROAD SELECTION of games that appeal to DIFFERENT TASTES. My main point of this topic has nothing to do with cod OTHER OP,S keep refering to it. i am refering to RDR UNDEAD NIGHTMARE and bringing this HIGHER QUALITY OF ZOMBIES to the gta world of los santos.I feel that los santos would give an excellent setting to this style of dlc and feel that rockstar done an AMAZING AND REFRESHING TAKE on zombies with RDR
thebestgameever
To those saying "why zombies, why not vampires, robots etc.." Simple Zombies are slow, easy to kill, FUN to kill ( run over, many other ways, the way they react will be satisfying), not to difficult to battle against, can be a lot of them at one time allow for greater fun killing them (running over a horde) Zombies are the safe option to include, you don't really need to do a lot to make them ( a actual zombie games is sadly harder to make right, as we see 90% of zombie games are crap, miss the main thing which is the SURVIVAL part) but this is just DLC/side mini game.
