universetwisters
To make a very long story short, I got mad at my friend the other day (gave me silent treatment over posting "it sucks when you make your best friend mad" on facebook) and I raged at her because the anger got to my head. I know I have a temper, I know I threw a fit, etc. whatever you want to call me or put it. But the question is, how do we get everything back to normal? We both saw each other today and both exchanged apologies, and we both decided to "take a break" for the rest of the week and the weekend. So...how do we get our friendship back on track? Clem Fandango
If you're such incredibly good friends that you have to decide not to see each other for a week and you'll probably be fine...

I'm open to more suggestions though, but for now, that is the plan. I'll give it until next Monday the 14th.

No worries for going off topic though, about a year or so ago, I made a sh*tty "my name is john/so cash" parody with myself, and I found it on my hardrive a few weeks ago. Needless to say, I decided to give it a try and see if it was any good anymore. Evidently it wasn't! And I have realized that I was wrong to put that up on facebook in the first place and rage at her a few days later. I'd like to apologize to her when my "vacation" from her is up, but I'm afraid that she won't listen
DeeperRed
If you're such incredibly good friends that you have to decide not to see each other for a week and you'll probably be fine... My sentiments exactly. When does friendship ever require a "take a break" stage. It happens in a relationship because you are co-dependent on each other, when you take a break its to see how you feel on your own, see what you miss and ultimately see if you actually do really want each other. Friendship is entirely different. You have an argument, you either make up right their, make up later or never make up at all. Taking a f*cking friendship break just sounds f*cking retarded if you ask me.
