.Emmi Posted January 10, 2013 Share Posted January 10, 2013 I could imagine the 4th spot being for the multiplayer avatar. so maybe the bold new direction rockstar is always talking about is to jump into the multiplayer right from the singleplayer without loading screen and without the change of place. so eg you being here at the vinewood hills with trevor, then you think, hey i wanna play some multiplayer, you use the character switching system and select the multiplayer spot - then an animation starts, sth like rockstar did with max payne 3, so it zooms into trevors shoes for example and after a second it zooms out again and you are in multiplayer with your specific multiplayer avatar - in the vinewood hills would be amazing imo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was in no way implied that there would be a fourth character slot. It implied a lot of things in the GI article, but this was not one of them. It could be anything, since they said they didn't get to play as it. It could be Chop or it could be a Multiplayer slot, but none of this was implied. It would also be a great idea coz you could customise your very own character to roam as online or off while keeping a great indepth story people wanting a straight gang banger could make a character like that or a mob guy etc then you have the 3 given to you you can use.
