While many hardcore gamers are now waiting for the next-generation systens from Sony and Microsoft, IDC noted that Nintendo will still "find an audience" with Wii U, reaching global bundle shipments of 50 million by year-end 2016. I hope you're joking, there is not a single Pokemon game with over 20 million copies sold, GTA IV sold 25 and San Andreas 23 million copies. Pokemon is popilar but it's nowhere as popular as GTA. OT: I know the OP is a fanboy but he is right, Black Ops 2 and Far Cry 3 are the only AAA multiplatform games that sold better on the 360 in 2012 (I havelinks btw) but every other game sold better on the PS3 so he has a point. Now that PS3 has finaly caught up and taken the lead, perhaps GTA 5 will sell more on PS3. I dont really care to be honest, I just want GTA 5 to beat CoD in total sales. If his entire argument is based on console sales, then every single game should sale better on PS3, but that's the problem with his argument. Those are worldwide sales and you have to take into account the Asian market which couldn't give two f*cks about GTA and many other American games like Black Ops 2 and Far Cry 3. You could be right, GTA IV to this day has sold 6.16 million on 360 and that launched 4 years ago while Black Ops 2 launched just last year and its at 6.72 million. Your only argument that GTA V will sell more than Black Ops 2 or even MW4 is that there are more console owners now. Which is a flawed argument. Because there are more consoles more people can buy both GTA V or Black Ops 2 or MW4. Some how, in your logic you've made it out to be "because there are more console owners, now more of them will decidedly buy GTA V over Call of Duty". Doesn't make much sense. Man, it's funny how the media made people think reaching CoD numbers is impossible when IV sold 25 million copies when there were less than 35 million console owners in 2008-2009, now there is 144 and people think GTA V won't sell at least 35 million copies (which is enough to beat CoD)?
