Sgt. Foley
Earlier today, 2K Sports announced not only is MLB 2K13 alive and well, but also coming to PS3 and Xbox 3260 March 5. Until today, the future of the MLB 2K series remained up in the air. The exclusive third-party rights 2K Sports parent company Take-Two held to publish licensed baseball games expired last year. About the same time, a 2K Sports spokesperson told Kotaku that MLB 2k12 would be the last. Today’s press release, of course, proves otherwise. “We’d like to thank our league partners for their support in helping us reach an agreement to bring back MLB 2K,” Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports, says in the press release. “We know fans are extremely passionate about the MLB 2K series and the Perfect Game Challenge.” As the image above—taken from the box art—indicates, Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price has been chosen to grace the game’s cover. No doubt for his ability to throw lightning-charged pitches like some modern Greek demigod. Source

darthYENIK
But he's right. Not that the 2k games are bad. Plus they never had Mike Trout in their little cover athlete contest. http://www.gamezone.com/products/mlb-13-th...w-s-cover-named But they had Bryce Harper. That's a clown contest, bro. twinkiller
you are right trout should be on there and harper shouldn't. Anyway I hope Cutch wins.
Sgt. Foley
The cover for 2k is always a voting contest... they just pick people that they think would fit the cover and do a vote on their website. I like the idea actually.
Sunrise Driver
No for PC/WiiU/PS Vita? MLB 13 Show is indeed better then (was always better anyway).
Sgt. Foley
No for PC/WiiU/PS Vita? MLB 13 Show is indeed better then (was always better anyway). It's usually on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Not sure about Wii U but that would be an awesome idea! I guess im gonna pick this up March

I like the idea actually. I like the idea as well, but it's pretty retarded not to be able to vote for the best all around player in the game from last season. I personally can't wait until EA releases a new MVP game.
twinkiller
game looks exactly the same with weird looking player models and no people in the green monster. Thank god I have a ps3. 2k should have just kept away this year and let another company make a baseball game. Now don't get me wrong I am happy that xbox 360 players get a game but you deserve something a little better. gtamann123
2K is inferior to The Show no doubt. But there really not as bad as they used to be. I still play 2K11 and Its an OK game. Some things still suck but atleast it isn't completely unplayable.
