Nopheros
So what are you doing preparing for this amazing-looking game? I'm going to complete some, or maybe even all of the GTA games, starting with San Andreas right now. Also, sorry if this thread have been made before, I couldn't find one.. so I ask again, what are you going to do preparing for this game? Maybe play all the GTA games like me? Nameless Foot Soldier
Grand Theft Auto IV , all day, everyday. All DLCs, and basic story too. Over and over and over. Just got a New copy of San Andreas awhile ago and started playing through it but It just doesn't have the things that make the game better to me. There isin't enough to do in the world in between missions. Sure the gang wars were okay but then I made it to San Fierro. Plus, I really don't wanna do the ZERO missions. I'm really fond of the stuff you can do in GTA IV whilst in between missions. Hanging with friends (So much stuff you can do!!!), watching T.V when relaxing in the apartments in the early hours, Walking around to enjoy the view (Driving also works), going on dates with Kate, Walking down to the internet café and reading some funny stuff, calling up a race with Bruice. Stalking the streets for cars that Steave wants, Stealing Bruice's email cars. Doing a job for Little Jacob, Cabbing for Roman, and other stuff as well. God GTA IV is so amazing. MARKUS.
Well I'm practising with Red Dead Redemption shooting birds and heads in order to have more accuracy and with Max Payne 3 for practising with the new AI system... Specially with the UFE chapters, I think it's how the Noose's AI is gonna work, so it's gonna be quite harder to kill them

However, all sarcasm aside, the driving in GTA IV is more enjoyable than it was in SA, for this reason alone, I like driving around Liberty City. Yes the SA map has more variety but f*ck, Liberty is HD and the driving is spot on. I just can't wait to drive in GTA V, I sure hope the changes to the driving physics aren't too distant from GTA IV. Vormek
D-Day: 8 AM: I shall wake up and proceed to put my clothes on. 8.10 AM: I shall jump in my car and drive about 30 miles in order to pick up my copy of GTA V. While I'm driving I usually smoke a few cigarettes and drink some Red Bulls to kickstart my day. 9.30 AM: I have now returned to my cockroach infested dwelling. I will now proceed with the task to clean my sh*thole. All the dirty socks and undies with skidmarks on them will be thrown into the washing machine. All the itty bitty pieces of disgusting moldy food on the floor will carefully be picked up with some gloves, mouth protection and a full body radiation suit. After this I shall proceed to vacuum my entire room as well as mopping the floor. New sheets and pillows as well. As a finishing touch I will open up the window for 1 hour to cleanse the room from my filthy sweaty body odor 10.30 AM: After cleaning my room I will proceed to clean myself. Showering, brushing my teeth, shave pubic hair, floss and applying a nice creme on my face. 11.30 AM: After picking up the game, cleaning my gaming room and cleaning myself as well, I only need one more thing. Food and snacks! I will drive to my nearest pizzeria and order a nice freshly baked pizza. While I'm waiting for the pizza to be done I will simply walk a few hundred feet to a candy store and buy some bottles of Red Bull, chips and chocolate bars. 12 o clock! Back home. Doors locked! Windows shut! Cellphone off! Food and snacks neatly piled up next to my sofa. GTA V disc inserted in PS3. Volume cranked up! Watching the amazing intro. Frist off, mindless chaos is retarded and only dumbs down the story's experience. Second, I don't steal stuff unless I have too, also, why would CJ steal a bike just to joyride on a mountain? I see it making much more sense to hang with a friend and do that but you can't hang with friends in SA . Third, I'm sorry but I personally don't like gambling, even in real life. Forth, Yes, driving and cruising the freeways is fun but I have way more fun driving in Liberty City. it's the greatest city in the world (Or at least based on it), it's the cultural melting pot of the world, an empire of the sky, and a theme on every street. To me, that is way more interesting to drive in, especially with the new engine which makes the whole game feel more alive then SA. Niko had no need to modify cars and neither do I, Besides, it's too much money to "pimp a car out" in SA, I mean, what does that even achieve, an overly modified car that looks like a child's toy? I can participate in races in GTA IV too, where the driving is more enjoyable. Also, yeah, that's what Carl does in San Fierro, drives recklessly all around the city just to get air *rolls eyes* . Oh, and when he isn't doing that, he is apparently jumping around like a f*cking idiot using a parachute (Pissed me off that they added basic Base Jumps in The Balled of Gay Tony, although I just ignore them). I still fail to see more stuff to do that would fit the story playthrough. SA is so boring. LONG LIVE IV!!!

I don't think GTA is for you if you're not willing to do exactly what the title is: Grand Theft Auto. Oh, of course I steal cars if I need to, like trying to getaway from cops or while chasing a target before they get away. Rockstar make such beautiful worlds that I like to find other means of travel, Like the subway for example. In IV, Rockstar made a truly working sub system. That allowed me to actually enjoy the game in a more realistic manner like not forcing Niko to steal a car every god damn time I need to get somewhere. You could start playing at 09.30 instead of 12.00 At least you could install the game during cleaning. Would save some time too I'm always too curious to do other things than playing when I have my copy!
