The Best Way to Include Dual Wielding

Im sure im definitely not the only one who wants to dual wield a gun but some didn't like the way in SA where we had to get HITMAN level and dual wield without an option to take it off when we want. So I thought man it's so simple just give it to us as a weapon tier like If we have 4 tiers 3 could be different types of guns and the 4th could be a Dual Wield tier with only weapons that would appear realistic when dual wielding. (Pistols,Smgs) and when it comes down to not using the cheats to get them, you can find them laying around it'll be like a normal pistol except you'll just see two of them side by side and pick them up to replace your current pistol.

Would be easier if in the weapon-selection-wheel first one pistol appears, then (if we bought or found two) an icon with 2 pistols (would of course work for smgs too), then another single weapon and so on

 

Or the system from MP3 but I don't think this will happen.

Or you just have the option to pick up another pistol like every other game. Simple. Doesn't even need it's own topic really.

NOT if the story or the character is a good fit for it. For example, duel wielding wouldn't fit in GTA: Vice City but it fits well with GTA: San Andreas in my opinion. As such, Franklin I could see being a character that can duel wield weapons, but I couldn't really imagine the others being able to duel wield.

 

If any of the characters are able to duel wield weapons - I would much rather be presented with the option to duel wield when I pick up another single-handed weapon by pressing a button, rather then duel wielded weapons having their own weapon class.

Weapon wheel like Red Dead with a secondary outer wheel for dual wielding and other configurations like Hitman Absolution. Easy as that really.

I do agree with you OP, a System like the latest Hitman game would be quite neat. Allowing you to duel wield at YOUR choice and not forced to keep it.

Franklin dual wielding..... I dont see it man. Hardly seems appropriate for his type of character.
