1. Jizzy is from the 3 era (aka the 3D universe) and according to Rockstar's own self imposed rules, such characters cannot pass between universes.

Jizzy is indeed dead.

You can't choose:

1. Anyone from GTA:IV or TLaD or TBoGT who is definitely dead.

Anyone from the GTA:IV trilogy who may or may not be dead as a result of the choices the player makes.

Niko or Packie because Rockstar have already explicitly stated that those two characters will not be returning.

It's also quite likely that we will not see the other two protags, Johnny and Luis, either. Edited January 10, 2013 by meson1

I don't know anyone from TLAD and TBoGT cause I never played it. I really should force myself to do it already sometime, I think.

I chose Mallorie Bardas. She was kinda cute and deserved someone better than the annoying Roman.

 

Edit: WTF Just found out Elisabetha was in TLAD, didnt know that.

I think Jerry Kapowitz (diamond bum) will return. But I was playing TBOGT yesterday and I heard Armando talking about the vespucci university, so I think that Armando may return, or Henrique.

Plus at the end of the DLC I though the last mission where the plane takes off he said I am going west. (May be wrong)

I know houser said Packies not in GTA5, But if you ask me that's just a cover up for the sake of the story. I think everything adds up to packie going to Los Santos, He talks about it throughout the game. He is also seen boarding a plane at the end credits (if you pay attention the runway has a V lit up also) and Packie would fit the style of the game revolving around hiest and robberies. If not a dlc playing as Packie would be soooo awesome! He was by far my favorite GTA character out of every GTA so for him to return would be awesome on so many levels!
