gsbadreligion Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Franklin and Trevor seem like they could easily fit the bill. franklin is young, in shape, and could easily be just like luis from tbogt and end up fighting for money. trevor is batsh*t crazy and would probably fight for the hell of it. I hope to see a much improved one though, with either a mma cage or boxing ring, or maybe just concrete. i think it was a pretty well liked feature and i don't see it being too hard to implement anyways. maybe even being able to train in mma(i'd love to be able to be able to fight like in mma, striking, takedowns, submissions, ground and pound, etc.). the fight club in gta tbogt for those who haven't played the game Franklin, in shape guy. looks like he could fight. Durden Posted January 9, 2013 Share Posted January 9, 2013 Yes there should be a more advanced fight club with stronger people, better rewards, etc. There should also be different modes. For example, I'd love to do a "Authority Rebel" mode of some sort, where you fight every police figure in the game something like in the following order: 1. Basic cop (unarmed) 2. Armed cop (nightstick, tazer) 3. Police dog 4. SWAT (unarmed) 5. SWAT (baton) 6. FIB (unarmed) 7. FIB (Knife) 8. Military Pilot (pistol) 9. Military Soldier (unarmed) 10. Military Soldier (M4) There should also be some homage to Fight Club the movie, with a chalkboard on the wall with the rules of Fight Club listed on it. So absolutely, it would be so awesome if they add a more improved fight club and also improve the fighting mechanics so they are so.... stiff and robotic. I had tons of fun fighting in GTA IV because it felt pretty damn good and satisfying, nearly perfect for the most part. RDR, on the other hand, felt extremely cheap and felt downgraded in almost every way. If there's going to be a fight club again, the fighting better be drastically improved (from both RDR and even GTA IV) because it'd be a pretty bland and useless activity otherwise. sometimes. you look very strange. somewhat smiling. a little vain. saying not today. The opponents should just get stronger more skillful. Not until after a fight should a sore loser or dude who lost money betting against you pull a weapon on you while you walk away with your winnings. Agreed I think even pedestrians should be kinda like that if you fight people in the streets some will be much tougher than others and more skilled. I'd like to see someone at a bar challenge you to a fight (much in the same way someone in RDR would challenge you to a duel). An NPC leaning against the bar saying "I heard about you tough guy, you think you can walk in and just own this bar? You aint nothing asshole", then you can accept to beat his ass with the bar crowd cheering and what-not. It shouldn't just be at bars though, it should be at all kinds of places like run down areas. Ghetto's, trailer parks, gas stations and bars.
