Well here's the interesting thing.. we know Michael has money (even though his wife is spending it all), we know Franklin has a repo job so he has money, and Trevor and his drug empire or whatever he's running is bound to have money. My guess is you'll start out with a significant amount of money for each character and it'll either be not enough for you to buy the big toys you want or you'll end up losing it for each character along the way which brings them together to do bank heists.

Yeah, Claude started with nothing because he was in prison. I think Michael will start with at least $20 in his wallet, although most likely something like $1000.
