Scampi
It'd make my day if they put Solvang in the game. It's basically a European (Denmark) town but built in California. It's admittedly a little far from LA, about an hour or so north of Santa Barbara, but given how unique it is I'd overlook any geographical inaccuracy if R* wanted to move it a little further south so it could be in. It's way too far from San Francisco, so assuming they went back there it wouldn't fit in, so putting it in V is the best chance to ever see it. I have no idea how to include a picture without making it enormous, so here's the links: Solvang 1 Solvang
BullworthAcademy.
it's no doubt that palm springs is going to be in GTAV but I'm afraid it'll be in a smaller version like the small towns you see in San Andreas just judging by the recent screenshots and trailers. I actually preferred if rockstar had added the cities surrounding los angeles like glendale (from glendale hehe ) burbank, pasadena and studio city, and it wouldn't have to be big cities either, as long as they were in there is what would matter in my opinion, and hey they could be used as dlc in the future. I first thought glendale would be likely considering that one of the main characters works for an Armenian dealership or something like that and god dammit is there a sh*t load of armenians in glendale... RedDragonsBOOM
One of the images released today showed Franklin at a port or harbor. That harbor is very much like the one in Long Beach leading me to believe Long Beach is in the game, a completely separate city located next to Los Angeles. http://media.gtanet.com/gallery/gta-5-scre...noculars-gi.jpg That is the picture. Looks like the southern part of LS to me. Similar to what we had in SA's LS near the stadium, which I believe is in the left of this photo. The Hippie
Scampi - WOW. I've never heard of that city Solvang, but that is a neat little town. I checked it out on google maps, it's located in Santa Barbara county. I really like that place. Very unique for Southern California. I've had second thoughts about Palm Springs now. It seems like the desert will be mainly old, run down places. We haven't seen all the desert though, so they could still add it. It seems we're not gonna get the Valley in the game either. It would've worked out well for suburban purposes. Finally, Long Beach, i had no question it was going to be in the game. San Andreas sort of had it and it's basically confirmed for GTA V. ChinaLino
Sorry for bumping an old thread but I think the alamo sea is far up north in a place called Lake County. Sandy Shores is Clearlake, it has the same mountains and also the flat construction part over the mountain is Oroville, Chico and Corning.
