Hardcore mode?

Not really down for the hardcore mode, this isn't Fallout 3, it's GTA, man!

No, GTA doesn't need this feature although it would be great if they will increase difficulty IV was way too easy..

In hardcore mode, if you get shot in a limb, that limb should react accordingly. Like if you got shot in the leg, now you'll be limping and slower. If you were shot in the arm, you would have a harder time climbing and possibly be less accurate and certainly have less melee attack power.

 

I also like the idea of having to refuel vehicles. Would make you think twice before starting a police chase. Better make sure you fill up before you go out, and hopefully you don't end up stealing a car with an empty tank in the middle of trying to run from the law.

Maybe hardcore can have sliders. If you do not want hunger or cars or with gas then you can turn it off, or you can slide how much health your player should have. Or you you can alter AI difficulty. That could work.

 

And when I referred to hunger and hydration I meant that you should maybe have a meal once every day (your refrigerator at your safehouse should have food and water) And the gasoline system in Mafia 2 works fine, I rarely must refuel my car, it could be easily done in GTAV.

I don't want to be all negative and all, but it just isn't going to happen.  Rockstar are well documented as saying that they don't do difficulty levels.

Yet they added one to Red Dead Redemption. I forgot which version it was. I think it was game of the year version.
