PlaystationGamer266
Looks brilliant, wouldn't be surprised if this game outsold gta
Remix
I've always been pretty frustrated with the Pokemon games. They've got great lore, a relatively decent cartoon series and the gameplay (catch pokemon and raise them) has always been extremely addicting. But it seems like only now are they actually starting to do anything with it. It's about time Gamefreak dropped the sprites in favour of 3d models, but I really hope they can improve the multiplayer aspects of the game. Kippers
They didn't stick with the 5th generation for very long then. I'm still playing White version. i'm at the pokemon league but non of my pokemon are strong enough for them yet so i'm grinding away. I woulda knocked them out the park in a week 11 years ago but I don't have nearly as much time to dedicate to that as I used to. I believe Gen 5 games have been the most financially popular to date? They have zero reason to change the narrative. I've got White 2 waiting to be played. I'll get to it hopefully before October. Don't know if I want X or Y yet. I usually decide on the day I buy it. EDIT: It's not that they ran out of colours, they're using the X and Y axes for 3D. In theory the 3rd title will be Pokemon Z. When Pokemon X/Y are released there will have been three years since Pokemon White/Black! I'm surprised you're still grinding away on White, that game was the easiest of the franchise. What starter do you have?

What starter do you have? What are you talking about? White and Black were some of the more difficult games in the series. I found myself grinding a whole lot more than I did in any previous entry. I was surprised when I lost to Alder twice in a row because it was the first time I've never beaten the Pokemon League on my first try. I'm on my second playthrough right now. I chose Snivey as my starter the first time around, big mistake. I chose Oshawott for my starter this time. I'm still pissed off at myself for deleting my first game because I had Victini, one of the rarest and most powerful Pokemon in series history. Is Black 2 or White 2 worth a buy? Is it true it reads your save feom the first game and adapts to it? I found it to be substantially easier than previous games. Not once did all my pokemon die, and I never had to grind once. It was literally a cake walk, but that may have been due to: - Potions are easily obtainable + money isn't an issue in the game = easy game I probably could've made it harder for myself, but these games are designed to be accessible by a young demographic so the option to breeze through the game is always there. Kippers
I started with Tepig. I'm always relectant to use potions and stuff unless it's the last option. I make it harder for myself in the short term by tediously getting my pokemon 10 or so levels higher than the next gym. I beat every gym in White on my first attempt with no potions etc... It's something i've just done since day 1 with the series, but I find the type varients to be much more crucial to how easily battles are won/lost than in any other game. I remember beating everything with Charizard in R/B/Y but that single pokemon ideology doesn't work so well here. 習うより慣れろ

That way it's not overkill and I still have a good lead on the gym leaders. For example. Gym 1 - All of my Pokemon are level 15 Gym 2 - 20 Gym 3 - 25 etc. As for the Pokemon league, I usually try to reach 60-65 before starting. I also did a one Pokemon run-through. I beat Pokemon Blue with Venusaur and its' predecessors only. By the time I got to the Pokemon league, he was at level 100. It was extremely boring though.
