Define what you mean by "new". Do you mean new to the series (like the Tar-21 in this screenshot?) or new as in recently made?

GTA V is going to be the game with the biggest arsenal of the GTA franchise so yes, there will be obviously new weapons.

It's been confirmed that GTA V will have the most number of weopons available to the player. I also think we'll see weopons that we couldn't even imagine seeing before.

Sure there will be new weapons. Just look at the trailers and screenshots.

GTA 4 had a fraction of the weapons used previously. So compared to IV - yes, there will be tons of new weapons. Compared to GTA SA - 3-5 probably.
