Seeing as how most of the US are descendants of Britain, thats not surprising. Why would they call him Arkady, or Jesus if he was an American ? I aint no damn Descendent of britain... R* wouldn't use the same surname twice in a row in different universes, they just wouldn't. Also it was never confirmed that the casting call was even legit, or for GTA V. It doesn't feel personal enough to me for a GTA protag... it's like say John, or Joseph or something... cliché, stereotypical english name. There must be a million guys in the US called by that. Rockstar could have been more creative on his name What do you think? He is in Witness Protection and Michael is probably not his real name. So "Michael" is perfect for someone who tries to hide.
