They should make it a bit harder to be a bit more realistic. -some cars having locked doors -pedestrian resisting to get out of the car -attempting to drive away when you open the door -trying to hold the door from you opening it what other improvements can they do? The behaviour could be more different from ped to ped For example in IV every time you punch a taxi / cab (even with fists) the driver will exit the car and come after you. When you point a gun at them on a traffic light, they hide behind the steering wheel. Every time. And let me ask you a question: Do you lock your car when you're driving in it? I've seen NPCs trying to drive away in GTA IV plenty of times, but they never succeded. I do however think you're right about that they're never resisting to get out of the car, then again, would you resist if you got kicked in the head? If you're driving in a place like L.A. or New York City, driving with a locked door makes sense. Plus, most of today's cars lock automatically after being on for a small duration. Honestly (and back OT) I *would* like to see some struggle out of these peds, only a handful of times did latin or asian or eastern block gangs give me trouble in IV and never a ped, they all ran like sissies... man I'm STEALING YOUR CAR... not swiping the ketchup from your tavle at a fast food place... SOmeting similar like in Mafia 2 and sleeping dogs. In sleeping dogs u can steal car that parked using some kind metallic things I don't know what's called of it. Drive around LA at night and get stuck at a stop light with your doors unlocked and see what happens. Anywho, I don't think we need much else in terms of carjacking features. Off topic: I like how agro the taxi drivers get when you punch their car or at least bump into them. gsbadreligion Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 Things i'd like to see: Certain reactions to you trying to jack peoples cars: with a gun: -normal peds: get out of the car and run -a percentage of normal peds: drop there head and hit the gas -gangsters: point a gun back at you -military: disarm your weapon and get out of the car with a desert eagle or m4 -police: get out of the car and point a pistol or shotgun at you -swat: signal guys in the back to shoot you -taxi driver: run -with fists or melee weapons: -normal peds: run away -a percentage: drop head and get out of there -gangsters: try to fist fight you or get out a bat/crowbar/melee weapon -military: get out combat knife and attack you -police: get out police baton and beat you -swat: hit you with bettering ram(how funny would this be) -taxi driver: fight you Having fun with stealing cars: -be able to handcuff driver and put them in trunk -throw a gernade/molotov cocktail in the drivers seat -be able to grab and throw the driver into traffic(id like to be able to grab people and throw them with all peds) -being able to pierce the drivers side door with a samurai sword(killing the driver) -being able to knock them out with a bat(breaking window and hitting head) -being able to kick the window in(also kicking driver in the face) -being able to handcuff the drive to a truck hitch(drag them along ground) Unrelated Stuff to be added: -ability to pick up knocked out people and throw them in dumpsters, handcuff them to cars, trains, etc. -test cars in a car factory/movie stunt set(like a car with car dummys running into a wall(throw peds into it)) -ability to choke out peds(with a chokehold, handcuffs, bat, etc.) -ability to throw stuff in front of motorcycle riders to make them fall) -being able to use other weapons than just pistols when driving(shoguns, smgs, etc.) -ability to have one of the protagonists drive and you being in the back seat with a heavy weapon(sniper, rpg, gernade launcher) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
