Imagine your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Also what about the underwater aspect? That being said, I actually agree with you, in a way. There should be a sense of danger that increases at certain times/places. Like the countryside at night time, or the ghetto. There should be more random occurrences (which I think the GI article said there would be) that keep the player on edge. For example, muggings or things of that nature. I'm definitely jumping out of a helicopter in the middle of the night, in the middle of the ocean in V. It's going to be creepy. Especially if sharks attack. Yeah that croc scene scared the f*ck outta me!! Did NOT expect that to happen! Yeah I want some scary or tense moments when exploring the deep. Whether its the ocean or forest at night, I still want some scary unexpected sh*t to happen cuz......that's usually what happens when your dumbass go exploring in those areas in real life! Having just played through Farcry3 i do hope that they capture that danger element from the wildlife. I also would like to see rare events like some that have been mentioned here, for example when walking through the woods at night, you hear footsteps but cant see anyone... keeping yourself composed you start to make your way back towards the nearest town you catch sight of a person moving through the woods too.. at this point the games "sound track" picks up and so does your pace.... sometimes this events in a person chasing/jumping out on you, sometimes its nothing... If they do add this type of thing, i hope it is actually rare... like rare to the point its abit of an "online myth" for the first few months til more people start experiencing it. Obviously some people wont get the benifit of such events becuase they will "Use the health cheat".. or they are just badass [ *sigh* ] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The GTA Guy Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 I would also really like it if they could do similar danger feel to the wildlife as Far Cry 3, that game did it really well in my opinion. Imagine walking in the forest and suddenly you get attacked by black bear(I know they don't really attack IRL if they dont have reason but who cares?), or by shark while swimming! I do not enjoy horror films or horror games, i get bored by them. I do not understand how being frightened is fun. Random events like animals attacking though? It'd get annoying like in RDR when you want to explore, and in this day and age such attacks are rarer than in the 1800s, so if they were rare, ok, but being pounced on by a bear everytime you get out of your car? thomas_zul Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 I would like to see some different types of wild life but not that much so you can't go outside city boundaries and return in one piece I think something like danger from survival programs would be quite cool. I mean Man vs Wild and even better Survivorman Imagine surviving one or two days/nights without pretty much everything in the middle of a nowhere. Where civilization is about miles and miles away and you can't see anything but big scary trees between lakes and rivers. Throughout day it could be actually pretty nice place but at dark night... it's going to be scary as hell I can't wait for GTAV! Yeah, infact when I was playing SA earlier, I turned down the brightness on the lowest settings, and made the game louder, I also turned off the lights and played some creepy music, SA countryside at night is genuinely creepy. I also know those long trips where youre driving in the desert at night, id be scared as hell if the car stops.
