VATG
could be a cool way to use the new "hand gestures" feature and the voice commands could use for calling chop or to switch between the characters by saying their names for example... what do you think? feel free to add more ways which R* can implement Kinect in GTA V. TheGodDamnMaster
In an interview with IGN, Dan Houser already confirmed that there would be no Move support, but some exclusive Kinect functionality that is still "under wraps". Raynos
OP. Its kinda hard to do on a multi-platform game. If they do Kinect, they'll have to do Move and Wii-Move. So, I'm guessing that theres a strong possibility that Kinect will not Kinect with GTA V.
BlackNoise
In an interview with IGN, Dan Houser already confirmed that there would be no Move support, but some exclusive Kinect functionality that is still "under wraps". Yep... IGN interviewing Dan Houser: IGN - Why aren’t Kinect and PlayStation Move in GTA V? Houser - One of the things we're doing now, just to talk about mini-games, is making sure when you go into the mini-games and when you come out of them it feels very seamless. It feels like part of the whole experience. If you were suddenly go, "This bit's Move, that bit's not, this bit's Kinect, that bit's not," it would feel very disjointed to us. That would be detrimental to the overall experience in exchange for a bullet point on the back of the box. That's not very appealing to us. infiniteammo
Kinect still seems gimmicky to me, I wanted in Skyrim to be able to do the shouts by saying the words, but then I doubt my neighbors wanted to hear "Fus. Ro. Da! Motherfornicator!" over reggae music and me throwing the controller against the wall I dare say I'm already pushing my luck... >.>
Chukkles
Has kinetic become anything more than a gimmick yet? Seriously I would not want this in the game anywhere, I know it could be optional but it means that us controller folk would have a crap control system in place where these kinetic segments are, because ofcourse the entire game couldn't be played using kinetic. You'd be constantly sitting then standing and sitting again, drop controller pick it up drop it pick up. No, kinetic is nothing more than a toy for kids who want to pet virtual animals because their parents won't trust them with a Guinea pig.

How many kinect games you have and what are they? Sky rim isn't a kinect game, it was just an update.
VATG
damn i forgot how many kids are on this forum... so you wanna tell me that 'flipping the finger' in front of the Kinect camera and then seeing your character in the game doing it isn't a cool feature? f*ckottahere! or giving voice commends to chop like attack, sit, stay, fetch, etc... ?!?! im sorry but y'all trippin. BlackNoise
What you're talking about actually sounds pretty cool, but R*(Dan Houser) has already said that it just doesn't appeal to them.
Racecarlock
That would be like mixing a terminator with C-3PO. You guys guess which one is which.
The Wolfman
Hell to the no, not only will it be entirely difficult to control the player, running, shooting, etc. But you will also look like a f*cking idiot while you pretend you're shooting and running like a retarded kid. This thread has to be a joke.

gtafan023
i dont think its a good idea,i mean....i dont think its fun to control the kinect AND controller at the same time, but if its optional,i dont mind, but i dont think rockstar would spend their time on this
