polos1231
For some reason the GTA SA User Files aren't in My Documents. I use XP Professional and I know that the User Files would be in My Documents as I have used them before when putting music into the User Tracks folder. How do I get the folder back and working? Miro
Once you actually launch the game, I think the folder is created, in your ''My Documents'' folder. Try creating a new game (and saving) or redefining the game settings, as they would automatically create the new folder for the game files to be stored. If not, just create the folder by yourself in ''My Documents'' named "GTA San Andreas User Files" and make two new folders in this folder; both named "User Tracks" respectively "Gallery" ''User Tracks'' is obviously where you put your MP3s or MP3 shortcuts. If that still doesn't work, try a Search of your hard-drive for the folder ''GTA San Andreas User Files'' or simply "User Files". It might be stored somewhere else, for some strange reason. Hope this helps! Dead (Retired)
polos1231
I started a new save game, no luck. I searched my hard drive and the only ones that came up were 'GTA 3 User Files' and GTA Vice City User Files'. I tried to create a new one with both folders in it, and it didn't work either. I hope there is a way of fixing this so I can listen to my own music ingame.
Miro
Did you also save the save game you started? In any case, go to Start --> Search --> All files and folders and type in gta_sa.set. Make sure you've unhidden any kind of folder before doing so (to unhide folders, go to you Control Panel --> Folder Options. Click on the View Tab and check the radio button “show hidden files and folders” and press OK - Helpful picture about this task). lil weasel
If you have played and saved a game that you can use. Search for "*.b" (without the quotes). Are you playing with the DVD in the Drive?
polos1231
No '.b' files came up, I'm using a v.10 no cd for CLEO4 (this one: http://www.thegtaplace.com/downloads/f4635-sa-no-cd-patch) But I do have a DVD disc.
Miro
Sorry but we can't help you if you a pirated game. Go buy San Andreas. Dead (Retired)
polos1231
I'm only using a downgraded .exe for CLEO, but i have installed the files through the actual San Andreas disc.
lil weasel
Get rid of the Crack, use the DVD to play the game the way it is intended. The Crack (no-cd) may be the reason for the problem. We don't help fix modded games in this forum.
