Why would they have three voices narrating the 1st trailer thus (pretty much) revealing 3 protagonists straight away and spoiling the surprise they had lined up? 2. Michael is clearly going to be not the main, but the lead protagonist hence why he opened the second trailer! 3. This thread is pointless. 4. To be fair we have SO MANY pointless threads theses days so, whatever My bets are on Michael being the first character you play as put it that way! Is this a hint to a trever and franklin only trailer later on in promotion? I think this is it. Also, I'd say that we'll start with Michael on first play. He seems the central character. We know that he meets Franklin on a beach (well, there are other explanations for that scene but it looks like first meet and probable a cut scene after a very basic 'drive to this place' mission) We know he is an old friend of Trevor I reckon we'll be playing at least 30 mins or so before we see all three protagonists. EDIT: Actually, I think they already had at least a good idea of the story-line before they released that trailer. gsbadreligion Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 In my opinion, Michael is the most important character of all, because I think he's the one who will meet up the other characters and that's how we'll get to know them. Michael seems to be the brains of the operation and he is the one with the most experience(trevor offers alot too). franklin is too young to really be that imporant imo(he is a vital resource though), trevor is way to psycho to be number 1 and michael is the oldest character so he fits. This game seems suited to Michael. Heists (which he has a history in). Not much of a mention of gangs yet. Some family drama. I still think he's the worst of them all, with his boring ass family. i think you might be jumping the gun a little(not knowing anything besides the basics of his family). alot of sh*t can go down with a disfunctional family and i can't wait to see it happen. i expect: kidnapping, dealing with his childs friends, maybe his wife having an affair at one point, his wife learning about him being broke, his son trying to be like franklin and getting himself into some serious sh*t, his daughter hanging out with gangbangers possibly, maybe his associates or enemies(to get back at him for "ruining her life"). Rjeev142 Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 No thats not possible, rockstar already stated they had to build the game from the ground up to create a world that could accommodate 3 switchable characters, apparently the logistics were a headache. So I do not believe they changed their minds after trailer 1, after all we see Franklin in the convertible car in trailer 1. This. But I also think they didn't quite have Trevor's personality and appearance down because he appears as a generic white man in trailer 1 with Michael and Franklin.
