I think no one should chose because we know alot of information about one character, but very little about the others. Rockstar wont create 2 interesting characters and one boring and predictable. Remember this, he will have a deep personallity or an interesting story. Both Trevor and Michael appear to have cool personalities which show through in the trailer, but Franklin not as much. However, this will certainly change when the game comes out or simply when we see more of Franklin, perhaps in the third trailer, because then we'll be exposed to more of his personality. Perhaps the belief is that he will end up being more along the lines of an avatar for the player than an actual character because he's more like a 'typical' GTA protagonist, young and ambitious. I think that this will not be the case and that there's more to him than that, but right now "young" and "ambitious" is all we really have to go on. However, as with the other two characters, his personality will shine the most during interactions with the other protagonists. Because we haven't seen much of that with him as we have the two so far, I think it's a fairly good explanation as to why people "don't like" him. However, he's not my favorite character either, but I don't dislike him either. I think I'll like all three. Trevor will be interesting because I want to see how his drug addiction and insanity play into the story. Franklin so far looks like the weakest of the 3 story wise. To answer the OP, I wondered that as well. I guess Michael (because of his charm) and Trevor (because of his psychopathic personality) seem like more interesting characters. Mister Pink Posted January 5, 2013 Share Posted January 5, 2013 I like the look of Franklin. In fact I'm glad we know little about because I don't want to whole game spoiled. To be honest my only gripe is that his story is just like Luis. A criminal looking to get out of the hood. I hope there's much more to it and I'm sure there is. I can obviously relate to my own colour skin more. I don't know why. It just seems more natural to me that if there was a choice to play as a white guy or a black guy, I'd sort of choose the white guy first. Purely aesthetics. Maybe it's bit of my wild fantasy of playing out some things I'll never get to do in life through that character. Anyway, I look forward to Franklin. Rockstar could be holding back the best until last. We don't know. He could just be a total shocker and win over all out hearts.
