I'm guessing that, just to salvage a shred of self-respect, R* will reveal the cover on Wednesday just so they can say they didn't wait until the very last minute.

 

As for today, "Vice City now available on PSN as a PS2 Classic" will surely be the only thing we'll see.

30-31 remained for us. Don't really think we'll see something new about GTA V today. But let's say they will reveal it tomorrow, do you think it is going to be the cover and some artwork we already saw ? Or they are going to post a video about the cover (like GTA IV) and next week the trailer???

no, rockstar said this month.

Well, in a few weeks or so turned out to be nearly two months. Therefore, it is not wrong to assume that January means late February in Rockstar's terminology.

damn, 24-25 didn't work out for the best. They should have announced the box art on the day or a week before rather than saying "later this month" at the beginning of the month because if we knew they literally meant the end of the month, we would rather not know so soon!

Well, not saying it will get delayed, but don't be surprised if it does. Delays happen. It's pretty common in the games industry.

 

 

Anyway there's still 2 days or so left so let's just wait it out.

This doesn't sound reassuring. Yes, there are delays in this industry, but if Rockstar can't even get this cover out on time that is pretty lame. The conference call is next Tuesday, i'd hope they'd have something more to share since their petty update 4 weeks ago with a single screenshot and piece of art work. Friday is February and if they don't wake up soon something is up.

Seriously, they can't delay this one. Well, they can but it'd just be such a lame conclusion to all this January speculation.

I think the only delays will be internal ones that may push it back one week or two, so we won't know the difference anyway. I think it'll be out this spring no matter what.

They appear not to be running a story about Vice City on PSN, instead choosing to just update people on it's availability in the comments section of the previous article so there's a good chance that we will see it later today.
