R*'s marketing has changed completely in comparison to GTA IV. It's box art was released Nov 28, 2007 and the game was released 29 April 2008 and the release date was announced on Jan 24, 2008. What on earth is R* doing this time.

It's obviously working since we know so little about the game, BUT IT'S PSSING ME OFF! I don't mean I want to know everything... All I want right now is the... *drools* RELEASE DATE!!!

January "9-11"

Who cares?

 

Anyway, I previously voted for the 24-25th for the release, but I now believe it will be the 30th-31st. Hopefully earlier!

It only works on hardcore gta fans. It's not a smart idea for the general public to make a game disappear then announce a release date so early before the release date.

Well.. nothing today either. And I am pretty sure we won't get anything tomorrow.

Tuesday (29 Jan.) : 1 new screenshot.

Wednesday (30 Jan.) : 1 new artwork.

And then the big day Thursday (31 Jan.) : Box art reveal + release date announcement.

Wow, you don't ask for much. I doubt we'll be getting anything more than 1 artwork... then the big reveal. But who knows.

Then, come April 1st, Rockstar will be all like "April fools!" and announce that GTA 5 was never in development and that Rockstar actually went broke a few years back and that they used the small amount of money they had remaining on the best prank since the Mayan's December 21st 2012 stunt, then we'll all laugh and laugh and laugh and laugh and cut our wrists and laugh and laugh and laugh. Trust me on this one. icon14.gif

I think at this point in time it is safe to say it will be 30th or the 31st. it is clear that when rockstar say the end of january they mean the end of januarey quite litrally
