I'm not really all about it but it got me thinking that a feature like this would be cool in V. If they bring back the camera phone it would not only be cool to have the ability to edit photos with filters and effects but it's an easy feature to make. It would be cool if rockstar made a way to upload and share your in game photos in the social club all in game. Access the site from the in game Internet as well as the normal Internet. This would be awesome in multiplayer as well. Imagine photographing 10 of your friends base jumping off Mount Chiliad in the sunset. Alot of people liked taking pictures with the phone in SA. This would give more of a purpose to taking photos rather than them just sitting on your phone in game. There are alot of people who post GTA IV videos on YouTube, creating funny moments, awesome situations, and even full fledged side stories. But if people want it, it would be great if they could. Adriaan Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 You made the mistake by using the word "instagram". There's a lot of dislike towards that as of late. If the feature is an in-game camera like San Andreas, with which you can take pictures around the game world and share with people by uploading to Social Club (we know this is technically possible because of Midnight Club LA), then, yeah, sure. It definitely is something I've been wanting for a long time. I have some cool pictures in my San Andreas PC folder still. I remember even with Liberty City Stories people used to make comic strips with pictures taken in there using Edison Carter's mod for the PSP version. As for the different CC filters, I'm not sure if I'd want that (or even use it). But with any optional feature, if you don't like it, don't use it. Rockstar could do well with it. The ingame internet in GTA 4 was HUGE, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a parody of instagram. It would be great if u could edit pics and upload them to the Social Club from the ingame website. According to the posts above it's possible. Well, a part from a bug in single player that allowed your car to instantly stop (velocity vector went to 0 instantly) if you selected the camera option (think they may have patched it later, tho). It's just one of those features that feels like it has to be in-game. Nothing too technical, just a simple snapshot we can upload and save from R* Social Club. I have to try that, but I mean it was pointless in a sense that it was useless as a camera. It should also show up in full screen when u access the camera and work as a 1st person view to read small writing for example. Useful if u don't have a sniper in your arsenal. And anyway, the only reason people disliked the ability to take and save pictures in IV was because the feature was in their "oh so mighty and overrated" San Andreas.
