You could even say it started with the first trailer but it depends on how you define 'marketing'. Rockstar seem sure of themselves that they are putting out early marketing for the game. This is good news to me. Yes, I said before April and I meant it. It seems that regardless of whether their last few games had a targeted release date, at the time, of March, April or May - the website launch still took place anywhere from late Jan to late Feb. I think I remember they were posted in that green website. Here in Portugal nothing big yet, just a few posters in stores and some boxes on shelves for pre-orders.
