Zombie Terminator (A new Feeling Touch game) uses a very familiar backdrop for it's Zombie Apocolypse game. Could this be a hint at something from Rockstar on it's upcoming title (Possible Zombie Mode), or did FT just get caught using licensed GTA material? You decide. NudasPriest Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 I thought I saw some kind of icons that looked similar to Chinatown Wars artwork/icons/hud that had names including 'zombie', pretty sure I saw them in the PC version's weapons files somewhere... I don't care what anybody says, the idea of an open world zombie game is a great idea that still deserves to be explored properly in games, so I'm all for it. I imagine the weapons and AI systems to be great, animations top notch, physics even better, and the map will be stunning. An experience with zombies that is ABOVE mindless zombie head-shotting till the virtual cows come home, would be well worth trying in GTA V just for the map alone, + the aforementioned weapons, animations, physics, etc. Undead Nightmare for RDR was fun but too campy; I would love to see something more along the lines of DayZ, or The Road, or the original Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead; where everything is scarce, zombies are terrifying and lethal. I doubt something like this will come to GTA V but one can hope... Hope that the PC version comes soon enough and maybe somebody can make a nice mod for it. It's a waste of time to develop something that the majority aren't going to want. It's been done in RDR, I seriously doubt they're going to do it again.. If anything this is going to appear as a video game within V, not an entire zombie mode on itself. If you want an open world zombie game go beg some company to make one. If enough requests come in they'll have to make one sooner or later since all they really usually care about are sales. Zombies fit RDR because it's its own game. As a DLC I would love it, so it doesn't interrupt the flow of the regular GTA stuff, just kind of jammed into the regular game it would be kind of awkward and too over the top, Saints Row does that and it's why I sometimes really like playing Saints Row, then sometimes hate playing Saints Row. On topic though, that art looks very Patrick Brown to me, I think I've seen that background on his DeviantArt site before but I can't be arsed to checking it out at the moment. >.> Could be a commission? Zombies are an oversaturated market - with nothing new to bring to the table. Those first five hours were actually fun, I would get spooked here or there and have a great fear of being overrun by zombies and dying.. but then that faded off and I was left with a game where I ran around shooting mindless idiots over and over and over again.. go to this town, shoot the zombies, now goto this town.. and shoot the zombies, now goto the next town, and make sure you kill all the zombies.. wanna take a wild guess what the next goal was? I guess only mindless zombies can repeatedly truly appreciate zombie games, they just relate to them on such a greater level than your average thinker does.. the average thinker who actually thinks about the possibility of new things rather than rehashing the same zombie theme that's been ran straight to the ground over the past 5 years. rader1 Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 A "zombies" mode in GTA V would be really damn fun IMO. The variety/size of the map would lend itself to online multiplayer really well. It wouldn't be hard to implement as DLC later on at all. Just load 20-25 different zombie "skins" to the peds, write a routine where they stand idle without stimulis( then go nuts when a player is in line of sight) and maybe have a few "bases" established that requires players to go out and resupply(food, water, guns, ammo, gas for generators etc...) as missions. The game makers maybe don't even know which source their GFX artist used. Pretty bold for him to use something from such well know in gaming circle artist. You pay £40 for the game and then find almost half the f*cking game is all needed to be bought for twice the cost of the game in total. I like the idea of having a zombie appocalpyse as a multiplayer option where players take on zombies and like rdr undead nightmare except it's based in new times, better guns and maybe if servers can take it 16 players fighting for there lives and the winner is the survivor and it adds to achievements such as level ups and trophies. By the way the terminator part is a no however I don't see why it can't be somewhat featured so maybe a scene with Arnold Schwarzenegger ex govenor of California on bill boards and on radio even tv if possible prehaps a scetch in gta v.
