[email protected]!T
I put the mod on EFLC, using the teleport to the island, as the liberty city became transparent and disappeared. Only the road with cars and people. On the island there is no right paths and the city is empty. But that did not stop me to enjoy it. Here are some of my screenshots. Hopefully future versions will support and EFLC, because there are more vehicles, weapons, and other things.
nkjellman
EFLC support won't come till LC is gone. I think it might be the next release. They are doing little bits at a time, and the last update showed country side. Not sure if LC will stay or not. If it does, there is a low chance that TLAD will work. Looking at what they released so far, its clear that their going to expand the map. Not sure if it is going to take up all the mapable space. My guess is they are doing 1 city and country side like Mafia 1 or GTA V. I don't know what the f*ck is taking Rockstar so long to get me a new EFLC copy, but when I get it back, I'm going to work on Mafia Lost Heaven Rage EFLC support. If the Criminal Russia team wants, I can make the mod work on EFLC. However EFLC won't come till they are ready to completely remove LC and set this off as a stand alone. I wonder if the CR Team can use Cry Engine 3 to make Criminal Russia. Its more open source, better optimized engine, engine has newer graphical effects, ect. That or they could move to GTA V's version of Rage once its on PC and reaches the point. I can tell they are not playing around. I think the map would look better on a newer engine. (GTA V is the best choice.) Edited March 31, 2013 by nkjellman

nkjellman
No Cry Engine, GTA Only. Frank.s Approves Just hope this is going to be moved onto the GTA V engine once its time. Edit: GTA IV version of Rage is good for the mod and has the resources for it to be what it needs to be. Problem is, it doesn't manage memory well so you got to treat it like its a much higher end engine for smooth gameplay. Basically people would need an expensive PC with high end hardware (as of 2013 standards, not 2008 standards) to run it at a steady 60fps. By the way did anyone get countryside/mountains to work? I never got it too and just had to go back to the base criminal russia. I would love for this and gostown to merge! Hopefully the PC version will be more optimized than IV so smoother game play. Plus graphics will be better, and the GTA V features that IV doesn't have can be used.
