BBHD - if I recall correctly, you get conscripted into the army unless you go to college. I could be wrong about the latter, but I know Russia has conscription.

I precise that i only tested on LAN, haven't tested on WAN yet.

You model for GTA? Model correctly, great attention to trifles, to giving of feeling of the atmosphere is and Level Design is called. Use of Decal of geometry on places is conducted by Rockstar since GTA III, but rendering an alpha of textures Render Ware cursor always left much to be desired.


RAGE (Rockstar Advance Game Engine) the alpha perfectly processes channels and transparency. in GTA IV many elements of design of the map are executed by means of decal (decals). in GTA V all beauty of the map more than for 75% is made by means of decals, for each model there are decal and overlays, and on models only basic seamless textures.


When using decals in GTA IV, use the corresponding branch of shaders of gta_decal _ [X]. Additional transparency can be given by means of Vertex Alpha, thereby it is possible to carry out transition from one surface to another in the most convenient way.


Decals geometry will be spaced from the main per 0.005-0.012 units of volume if you model by default, this UNIT value in 3dsmax if to abstract in real sizes, 0,005 - 5 millimeters.

Likely isn't going to happen as it's not only the map that has been made, but a lot of scripts and the changes are going to be likely quite a bit for it to work on 1.0.4.0 as smooth as it works on 1.0.7.0.

 

I don't know why you can't run 1.0.7.0, but if it's anything to do with performance you likely aren't going to be able to run this well. I could run it well on my old pc, smoother than LC actually, but then if 1.0.7.0 is too much for your system I really doubt this will run even if it was for 1.0.4.0. If it's anything to do with ICE why you're still at 1.0.4.0, it does work with 1.0.7.0 if you didn't know.

 

I sure hope Russia meets the GTA V trio someday when total conversions are possible :)

Yes at first lol But all you need to do is hit import button on right screen and just use brush to paint your model ( sometimes u have to click ctrl, alt and shift buttons ) but after that u can just export it back :D

It's way simpler then making all terrain in 3ds max, all you need is to have is just some sketch model that haves the edges allready pre-made. Take a look at thic picture, it took me few weeks to remake terrain in zbrush to have lesser poly and still have some shapes for vertex blending while i was making first terrain out of nothing in 3ds max that surely took me more time to make. But i'm just here to help you out expand variety in shortcuts :p

I do not need zbrush for my landscapes, I feel comfortable to work in 3dsmax.
