OmeXr
Favorite Island? I'm going with Ghost Town, because it reminds me of Manhunt series. I would love if it was a real town and not just a cutscene set.
Radoonhagaydoon
Portland. but I never understood the point of having "Ghost town" - Why was it all the way north of Shoreside Vale and not near portland? That I don't get.
OmeXr
It was, in the beta. You can check some beta maps and you will see that there is some cut land near Salvatore's Mansion. I believe it was meant to be the real Ghost Town or Prison.
GTAKid667
I always liked Staunton Island for some reason and Ghost Town can be accessed by a dodo (if you can fly one) Edited January 28, 2013 by GTAKid667 Meet the GTA 3 players who've spent a decade playing pass-the-pad to 100% the game | GamesRadar

Space Cowboy
Shoreside Vale is beautiful, but Portland has something special too.
TheGodfather.
I love Staunton Island because the missions I got there were very easy..
GoldenBlade
I'm going to say Shoreside Vale. I find it more interesting than Staunton and Portland Islands. Plus, it has a beautiful view. My second favorite would be Portland Island. I actually think it's a great island.
Pyrrhic
Staunton's amazing, I never get bored of it. I would have LOVED Shoreside Vale if it weren't for the difficult and inconvenient road layout.
DEALUX
I voted Portland but now that I think of it I kind of like Staunton just as much. Shoreside is pretty nice too but what lzw3 said about road layout. Filip
Portland was in the early dev so it has the best atmosphere. Of course I like whole LC.
ThunderSt0rm
Staunton for me since i love the prosperous kind of like cities. No wonder i always visit Las Venturas or Algonquin.
Username.gta
I like Staunton most because of it's location. Like lzw3, I would've prefered SSV if the roads were a bit easier to navigate...
lol232
It was, in the beta. You can check some beta maps and you will see that there is some cut land near Salvatore's Mansion. I believe it was meant to be the real Ghost Town or Prison. Can you give me the pic of those Beta maps? Anyway, Staunton Island, IMO, especially when flying a dodo. From Heights, I mean... universetwisters
I love Portland. I grew up with it and I know nearly everything about it from off the back of my head!

MarshDanni
Staunton Island for me. It always had a special appeal to me I'm not sure why.
Lioshenka
All equally. Really, I can't choose. Portland feels so live, with its slightly grungy and working class inhabitants, Chinatown and architecture. It reminds me of my home city. Also Portland was the first ever GTA-related thing that I saw. Most memorable moment: first time my friend let me play the game on his computer, driving under the Callahan bridge with sun shining in my eye and thinking: "OMG, gaming can not get more realistic than that". Staunton is a rather busy business district, but it has its beauty. Reminds me of New York from the movies (I suppose it should though). Lots of hidden passages in unexpected places. Shoreside Vale - first even piece of countryside in SA. Absolutely love the council flats blocks, also remind me of my home city. The offroad mission in Patriot is amazing, though extremely challenging. Most memorable bit: doing the 100th unique jump over the reservoir at sunrise, listening to Rise FM. Johan
Staunton Island is the perfect size, a lot of tall buildings to fully give me the atmosphere I wanted. And I don't get destroyed in seconds just for driving around.

Voit Turyv
Portland - I know it like nothing else in this game. After years of playing in that area, navigation became intuitive. Staunton Island - It's clean and elegant, it is flat and driving there is a leisure. Shoreside Vale - Everything is crooked, I hate it. I'll go with Portland. Arsen Vitiuk
Portland. Simply because this is where everything started from... Including my love for GTA III.
TrevorSpeed914
I like Portland, but I don't like being shot at on half of the island.
MadClownBadDub
I picked Staunton, but now that I think about it, I wish I could change my vote to all of them equally. They all each had such a unique and distinct vibe. Liberty City never gets old.
guib
Portland, best gangs, best gangcars, best "poor New York" feeling.
Jool
Staunton. I like the place where it's possible to escape from darkness and gang shootouts. Main minus of Portland is gangs shooting at you all over the place, and about Shoreside - probably inconvenient road system, and lack of action, lack of missions on this island.. Patrizio
Difficult choice. What I will say, is that nothing in GTA has ever beaten you first time you saw: "Welcome to Staunton Island."
Homer Simpson
Portland - probably cos that's where it all started and just felt like home.
