Jimmy_Leppard
Awwww good to see you back The first thing I'm gonna do tomorrow is play the first mission Thanks a lot, man It's good to see some old faces around here. Still, I'm very busy and I will upload missions very rarely, but I figured it is cool anyway. Sometimes I'll have more, sometimes less free time, but any free time I catch, I'll sure be investing it into missions Also, this is probably the first mission I released with bugs. There are two bugs in the mission that can't be avoided unfortunately. First one is a non-stop showing objective checkpoint which I'd like you all to ignore. The second one.. Well, you'll figure that one out by yourself. Another point: The checkpoints are almost 0% sensitive and it sucks that you have to almost stop in them to trigger them Anyway, I hope you'll still like the mission. It is my comeback mission so.. Try not to be too offensive

Kwabs
Allright, played your first mission. It's a pretty cool mission, and I like it. That's all I've to say about it But there're only two things I don't really like. First thing, the 'No cars, no peds' objective. I mean, why? And the second thing, of course the checkpoints. They were pretty annoying and made me fail the mission the first time. But besides that, good job man I'm looking forward to see how this 'll continue

They were pretty annoying and made me fail the mission the first time. But besides that, good job man I'm looking forward to see how this 'll continue Hey, man. Thanks a lot. Ahh, I see you discovered the second bug. Let me explain. The first bug was that checkpoints which are absolutely unsensitive which makes the race a little bit hard cause if you don't slow down and slowly go through the checkpoint at the end of the line, nothing happens, you fail the mission for that and yeah.. it sucks, I don't know how to fix it. The second bug is that No cars/No peds objective. I actually put it, but then I re-wrote it and put Normal cars/peds, but it didn't have any effect. When I decided to delete that objective, the game crashed for me, so I had no other option but to leave it at that and yeah, I know, that sucks.. but still, I'm glad you liked the mission
Kaydee.
Great mission, and great to see experienced designers back, we need you. I played your mission: The presentation of the plot was amazing, couldn't be better. I don't remember to have seen a plot like this, so I'm glad that you make your mission series with new perspectives and unique stories. That race was quite hard due to the checkpoint bugs, but nothing that ruined the mission. Only thing I didn't like was the part we need to drive home after the conversation with that guy (forgot his name). You could've just teleported the player to the house. This mission in the overall is very good, and this mission pack is promising. Keep up the great work.

Rytuklis
Okay, i played the missions, so here are some points: 1st mission Positive: -Great dialogues and usage of animations -Nice story and no spelling mistakes, clear and understandable English -Creative trick to make you loose the race, good job with those barells Negative: -No moving cutscenes -No sounds -Intro could have been better honestly, rather than just a wall with some dialogue 2nd mission: Positive: -Great dialogues once again, English is great -Interesting mission overall Negative: -Once again no 7.0 exclusive features -Short
Yezz007
Race theme missions? Its kinda rare, i'll play this. I played the first two missions and, the dialogue are so good, unfortunately i got trolled by your annoying checkpoint make me fail the mission and i like the chasing scene on the second, never see with bike-chase. And i didn't see V7 feature, it will be cool if there is a drive-by on the future mission. Adding music would be great, there are tons of music match with race-theme.(in the web) And good luck with this, sir!

I'm glad you liked the missions so far. And as I said before, I will put V7 features in the missions soon enough
Kratos2000
Hai Jimmy, sup? We decided once that negative feedback and deep criticism has to be said, well, this is one of these moments when it's extremely important. I played the missions, and honestly they're sort of disappointing. You were kind of lazy I assume, I understand though. You usually have those moments of yours when you let go of your abillities and creativity, Usually happens to you before you take yourself seriously and make brilliant stuff. Both missions are too standard, not exciting, cutscenes are pretty dull, everything is kind of slow, story telling not so great. Damn it, more effort Jimmy. Mate, you did awesome things, don't let go of them, wake up please. I'll play it all, as always, but you've gotta work on it.

Ahh, I was waiting for your comment, Kratos Thanks a lot for playing the missions. I agree with you completely. It was almost 4 months since I last touched DYOM and I got a little rusty to be honest. And now here's V7 with all the new features to be explored and I'm still getting to know their functions cause I don't want to use them improperly and in a wrong moment. As the missions will progress, I should get back into my former ''groove'', so.. I hope it won't take long to accomplish that. Anyway, thanks for your comment as always, stay tuned
Zizo008
Welcome back Jim! I have to say, i agree with Kratos here, this mission pack would've nicer if it was released in the V6 era. Because i still didn't see any use of the new features. The story is great, the racing theme is quite rare to find but it really must be a challenge. I have a list of improvments if you don't mind: Instead of the "wall cutscenes" you can make them black cutscenes, i think they look more professional. You can do them when inside an interior in a black area such as wardrobes While this is mostly personal preference, i think using : is better than ( ) mostly because it takes less space, which sometimes can be valuable. Instead of the "one two three" cutscene, you could've made countdown objective. To stop the enemy car from moving, put an object inside it, and hide it when the countdown objective is over. I think using the racing checkpoint is better, it fits and looks better, and i think it might fix the sensitive checkpoint bug. I noticed in most of your MPs, you use a checkpoint, instead of a Add Car objective which i think is better. Since we're obliged to stay in the car and isn't it neccesary for the story? Some players might leave it. Here's a Racing tutorial i made, you propably know most of the tricks but perhaps you find it useful - Link Lastly, make use of the new features. I hope this wasn't much. More missions!

Doublepulse
Nice to see you back Jimmy. I will definitely check it out soon. Remember guys, the best missions are not overworked with the new features. Do not over do the v7 features. This message is not just for Jimmy but for others as well. Most people should keep it in mind and try not to over use the new features, since it is easy to do that. Most of the good missions are actually the simple ones. One feature that probably will be overused more is moving cutscenes. There are excellent ways to use them and poor ways to use them. I have no doubt that will be a problem for you . Make good use of Follow Actor, it seems to be the one that is easiest to control I think, and looks really good. Good luck and keep it real, Jimmy . Jimmy_Leppard
Thanks a lot to everyone, I really appreciate your feedbacks and support ! Now, @ Zizo, a couple of words for you. - I agree with the wall cutscenes I made, could've used some other places, but oh well. - I use () as a kind of a trademark and it seems to fit in the cutscene more. The '':'' is OK to cut down space for the words, but it works fine for me my way, so.. But thanks for the suggestion - I tried that before in some of my ''test missions'' and it doesn't work for me that way. The use of a cutscene in that situation adds more suspense in my opinion. - I tried to add the racing checkpoint at the end of the track aswell and it had the bug aswell every time. The natural checkpoint didn't have the bug every time, so for the sake of the mission, I put the natural one. If it shows less bug activity in the future, I will put the racing checkpoint in the future missions. - That is also kind of a trademark for me cause the other option you talk about doesn't fit in my script and it's way more complicated for me that way. I use a lot of teleports and a lot of car hidings and spawnings, so it works better for me the way I do it now. I know some players might leave it, but it's a game at the end of the day. Those who are into the mission pack will play it in the spirit of it - Won't leave the car - And yes, I will make use of the new features in the future missions Also, take note - This isn't really a ''race'' theme mission series. It is based a lot around cars and fast driving, but it's more of an action mission pack. @ Doublepulse - ''the best missions are not overworked with the new features. Do not over do the v7 features.'' - Exactly. I know new features are more tempting for everyone right now, but I have major stuff going on and major stuff planned already for this mission pack and V7 features are great, but will not always fit in my missions cause of the way they were thought up. I hope you guys won't be mad at me about it, but using V7 features in all of the missions just because it's the V7 version of DYOM isn't always a good idea. At least I think that way. Anyway, stay tuned for more missions

Kwabs
I played it. I liked it. But that's about everything I've to say about it. It's nice, but there's almost no action involved in the missions apart from driving. But I really agree with Kratos here: "everything is kind of slow". But I've no doubt that this 'll turn out in amazing MP, so keep it up
