riding a tank and shooting

I just used the tank in san andreas, and it seems that if you want to shoot the turret, the camera view also points into that direction? any way to disable this, it is quite annoying. the method as used in gta 3 was better.

I don't think there is, i may be incorrect though.

 

I will keep an eye on this thread though, come to think of it I would prefer it in the GTA 3 form as well

Turn the turret to where you want it and then switch to 1. person or cinematic view. The turret will then stick where you put it.

You didn't mention whether you play on PS2, PS3, PC or whatever, but if you play on the PS2, you either press R2 or L2, depending on which direction.

For your information, I didn't "abandon" my prior account; I was unable to change my e-mail and thus, was rendered without posting privileges. Plus if I wanted to "raise" my post tally, I would be posting in the General Chat and GTA V sections, and I'm not.
