keybladekyle
So the GTA San Andreas special edition came with an introduction movie which Rockstar has recently posted up on YouTube Do you think they will do the same thing with GTAV? Perhaps they are hinting at a pre-release teaser movie? Post your ideas. Chm0
No, because GTA V have no connections with IV They did that movie with san andreas because there is a link with III and VC I hope you will understand me I can't explain it well
Trund
I like how you call it "GTA San Andreas Special Edition", when it's just the normal game with nothing new. But no this has nothing to do with GTA V. They're not hinting at anything either. These games are in no way related with GTA V, besides having GTA in the name. Shoumaker
No, because GTA V have no connections with IV They did that movie with san andreas because there is a link with III and VC I hope you will understand me I can't explain it well You are wrong IV and V will be linked together becasue they are in the same era, in this case both games are present in the HD era. Really? You said No, because GTA V have NO connections with IV Your quote indicates that NOTHING will be linked from IV. Also, Im sure we'll see a few characters from IV like the GI issue stated already.

Yeah they will have a connection as they are in the same universe. But OP I don't know if it's possible that they will have The Introduction Movie as we still don't know if characters in GTA IV have/are related to the main characters in GTA V. keybladekyle
I don't think GTAIV and GTAV have to have a connection for them to make an Introduction movie for it, I just think it's a good opportunity for Rockstar to show off the new game engine and get people amped right before playing it. Only minor characters that's it, no links between the 3protags of V and the story of gta IV
Shoumaker
Only minor characters that's it, no links between the 3protags of V and the story of gta IV Fine, I agree to that as well becasue houser said that Packie wont be in the game. So we can say no makor characters will be there.

Adriaan
I like how you call it "GTA San Andreas Special Edition", when it's just the normal game with nothing new. Well that is what it's called... There are "special editions" of games all the time. There was one for GTA IV, as well. The San Andreas one was packaged with the original game, The Introduction video, and the movie Sunday Driver.

I first thought he meant the Version that was released yesterday for PS3/Xbox.

Nopheros
It would make sense now that there is three characters.
Bonfy
I like the idea, and I already thought about it. In Gta IV Niko docked in a whole new city he's never been to before, so starting the adventure like that was just fine. Now, the 3 protagonists all live in Los Santos (or surrounding areas), so we get into their lifes and have to deal with a city and population they already know, but we don't know at all. A sort of short movie to introduce the setting would really fit into this in my opinion.
kj2022
I like the idea, they could do it so they'd explain Michaels back story a little.
Sizeway
It would be nice to have an introduction...Maybe showing Franklin's history with gangs, Trevor's Drug dealing, And Michaels deal with the FIB
