TheGodDamnMaster
Please no more Nazi debates and Illuminati conspiracy theories. More of mine: -Atheists who spout "don't force your religion on me" are annoying. The atheist community is just as guilty on that front. -Harry Potter is boring. -Xbox 360 is the best console this gen. -PC gaming has been, and probably always will be the best choice. -Kotaku is trash. -I enjoy IGN Video Reviews. -Memes need to die. It pains me to say it, but they haven't been the same since they've gone mainstream. -Reddit > 4chan -I have yet to find any anime that can entertain me more than the Dragon Ball series. Otter
- emotions, not unlike like flavors, colors, and vigor, dampen with age. Enjoy them while they are so poignant. Ignoring or repressing them is crime against your own experience. - Modern Family is a pox on network comedy. - Language evolves. Words like 'swagger' will develop and transform over time. Complaining about this is pointless and stupid. It's like the Irish forgetting that potatoes were a foreign import - just because something is 'just so' today, does not mean it always was or always will be. - religious organizations should be taxed like everything else. Especially television preachers who bilk millions out of dimwitted followers. - hitting, hurting, or maiming a person for any reason other than self defense or the defense of another should be considered a grave offense. Punching someone out for calling you a name should land you with jail time. - people who endorse celebrities despite their heinous acts are also endorsing their heinous acts. If you buy Chris Brown's music, you're an asshole. There's grey area here but for the purposes of this thread... Don't support dickheads lest ye be proub to call yourself one as well. - Tupac wasn't all that special. Kimd of pains me to say it, but neither was John Lennon. - Metafiction isn't inherently cool. Yes at the time it was great, and it is still a good good game for me, but given what GTA evolved into, with VC, SA and IV, III just seems pale, if you take it as itself as the game itself, obviously putting aside the fact it kick-started GT franchise and sandbox gaming but I am talking solely and purely from the game standpoint another one about gaming - games have got easier. I have always thought this and it seems obvious but the point really got hammered home when I was on Tomb Raider I a few weeks back wondering "where the f*ck do I put this key?" now on modern day games you will usually get a marker on screen and if not that the protaganist will say something useful and the camera may pan to where you want to go if it is in the same room. in those older games you actually have to look for things and actually, at some points use your head and you know what that took from the experience? NOTHING. one that may annoy northerners here in the UK: GREGGS is average at best Edited December 11, 2012 by NateShaw92

Even looking at it from a gameplay and features perspective and ignoring its heritage I believe it is a great game with a solid storyline. MIKON8ERISBACK
The atheists get on my nerves too. They say I shouldn't force my religion in their face (which I literally never do because I seldom talk about religion in the first place), yet they go out of their way to make sure that their viewpoints are not only preached and heard by everyone, but accepted. It's one of the worst forms of hypocrisy I can think of besides the green freaks who throw their old (working or repairable) appliances into landfills so they can buy some peices of sh*t that will last less than three years that have the label "Environmentally Friendly" or "Green" on it despite the fact that most Chinese manufacturing plants are far worse than American manufacturing plants when it comes to pollution. I'll need to think on that one oh the guy below me reminded me of my other point JFK was not a great president he was not bad but he does not deserve this collective blowjob he receives from most people just because he was assassinated 2 years into his term, I guess if Bush had been offed in 2003 then you would be saying what a great man he was and how he was and how he was a great president. Not all atheists are like that. They're like any group - you'll have some members who decide to go the extra mile to push their views on everyone, much to the annoyance of the general public. I myself am an atheist, but I have no intention on spouting the word of the FSM and telling people what to believe. I'm all for the policy of "to each their own." The only time I'll get in someone's face about religion is if they're challenging my beliefs (or lack thereof, rather) or calling me down for being an atheist (which is quite rare). lil weasel
• 'New' topics of the same subject matter as 'Old' topics don't make much sense. All that happens is the same 'old' stuff is recycled into the 'new' one. • A real annoyance is the people who have “Superior Intelligence” demanding that the “Ordinary Person” must always have to prove what they 'believe'. And, that 'proof'* must meet some SI standard. But, presenting arguments is futile as there is never any 'proof' that will be accepted by the SI unless the OP decides to agree with SI. When said SI isn't successful in converting the OP it then becomes necessary for the SI to begin abusive language to show how the OP doesn't have a right to an opinion (i.e. the view somebody takes about an issue, especially when it is based solely on personal judgment). Therefore not all Opinion is necessarily debatable. *Note that not every source can be the OXFORD dictionary or Encyclopedia Britannica.

It's almost as annoying as making idiotic statements that are completely baseless and without merit, using sources that completely contradict them to back them up, then throwing their toys out of the pram, claiming greater knowledge through "superior" life experience, insulting labelling anyone who disagrees as "ignorant" and then coming on another thread to complain about it, and by doing so completely missing the point despite having it explained to them several times. But thank you for acknowledging my "superior intelligence". Clem Fandango
Is it an unpopular opinion that I think people shouldn't express opinions that they aren't willing or able to defend? It seems to be from reading this forum, people make ridiculous claims and then when someone corrects them-or even just asks for evidence-they bitch about having their "right to an opinion" attacked. Your opinion ceases to be personal when you express it in public, on a forum where people can read it and come to agree with it. People should try actually learning from being corrected rather than bending over backwards to filter it out and bitching about being bullied when it's clear to any objective observer that that is not what's happening. In my opinion - If you commit a crime so abhorrent such as murder, raping a child etc then you have relinquished your right to live. You no longer deserve a place on this planet. If they pass a psych test and are not found to be insane then that's all the proof I need. DEALUX
The fact is that justice assumes that we are responsible for our actions but I have yet to see anyone prove that to be right.
