I made this about a month ago, and a friend suggested I share it on these forums. The image was made in photoshop, using only GTA V resources. I hope you guys enjoy!

A speed art of the process -

You've done a lousy job of cutting out the characters, see the grey choppy outlines around them. And poor old jumpsuit is missing a chunk of his fingers.

The background is annoying blurry. I could go on, but I think you should just toss this and start over again.

It looks okay on a smaller scale, but as a wallpaper you can easily see everything that's wrong with it.

Thanks for the feedback, and as I said, this was made about a month ago, when I was only starting out on Photoshop. I used the Magic Eraser and Standard Eraser to cut out the characters, which was my downfall. I've been using the Pen Tool since a few weeks ago, much more accurate.

As for tossing it and starting again, this was only a "fun" project that took little over an hour, so I don't think I'll be making another. I appreciate the constructive criticism and as for "I could go on"; I'd very much like to hear what else is wrong so I can avoid these mistakes in the future.

Thanks,

CJ

Alright if you insist.

It's horrible the way the background blurs into the three shapes. If you wanted to emulate the GTA style you'd want clean sharp edges.

When making a wallpaper that'll be scaled to various different sizes, you need to make sure it works in each and doesn't lose quality. Always resize both axis at the same time, never skew or stretch your image.

Trevor's duffel bag is cut off. And for some reason his left leg is a little blurry.

The V logo doesn't need to be transparent, it'd look much better at full opacity.

Poor choice of images as the perspective and point of view is off between characters.
