Those magazine previews have finally started coming out. Bits and pieces of unverified info so far:   - The prologue chapter in the hospital is very linear and cutscene heavy, reminescent of CoD4's

I am ahker88 and Batzi from IGN boards and Neogaf. I didn't do this to troll you or just to have fun. I did it to prove a point which I will explain in detail later. The purpose of this new video was to simply debunk the previous one and make it go from 80% legit to 80% fake. Again it was intentional and I was doing my own voice not David's voice. You will understand when I explain Project Deception to you guys. Please be patient and stop the hate. smile.gif

I love Hayter's voice. But if I'm about to be honest, I'm more looking forward for a new voice actor, rather than him to be Boss again. Call me a punk, but I think it was a mistake in putting David as Naked Snake in MGS3. Big Boss is not Solid Snake and that should have been underlined from the very beginning. And besides, if it was somebody else from the start, we wouldn't have any voicing inconsistency or controversies in the series, like now.

 

Still, I hope to see some more from David Hayter - as Solid Snake of course. Not Naked...

Well Solid Snake is a direct clone of him so why wouldnt he look and sound the same?

 

What I want to know is what the hell happened to liquid to make him really look and sound nothing like anyone else in the entire franchise.

 

Personally after Big Boss' transition he should have a new voice, that of the one from MGS4, but I think they should have either waited a while before they switched it, (allow ground zeroes with hayter) then as a next gen title explain the voice change within 5, and also include hayter possibly even doing his regular speaking voice as a young solid snake.

 

We need Hayter to be in the game at least within some level.

Well Solid Snake is a direct clone of him so why wouldnt he look and sound the same?

Technically, it's Solidus Snake who was the direct clone of Big Boss. He was commonly called the "perfect" copy of him. That's why even John Cygan, Solidus' voice actor, could have been more fitting for Naked Snake's role than David Hayter.

As long as Kojima doesn't make a mistake, I have big expectations for this game. I have to admit, I didn't think Guns Of The Patriots was going to be that good but I was shocked at how fantastic the game really was. The only games I've really disliked in the series of Metal Gear Solid is MGS: Acid and MGS: Acid 2 for the PSP. They were shockingly terrible.

Vice is a possibility. Many people consider that. Honestly, can't think what anything else could be more fitting to this game. Even though every MGS theme has two e's in the name (Gene, Meme, Scene, Sense, Peace).

I think it's going to be madness. Showing Big Boss go from someone you can root for to someone truly in love with war, who's willing to feed children onto the battlefield just to feel alive.

I feel this is kind of validated by the flaming horseman and the giant whale and the fact that his buddy in the hospital is a figment of his imagination.

From "Fox", two phantoms were born.

 

Also, there's the illusions in the trailer (which kind of connects Fake to Sane), and also Fake in the sense of "replacement", like BB's fake arm.

 

And it rhymes with "Snake". tounge.gif
