Yeah, but remember it was a creative decision. Claude doesn't talk because he has no voice actor. I think he would've been more chilling if he had a voice actor, but rarely spoke if at all.

Couldn't agree more. Tommy was bad-ass but loyal to the loyal but he is a psychopathic killer but still he respected Kelly, Cortez, Umberto, Mitch because they never betrayed him. Most of those who died at the hands (or should I say guns) were the guys who betrayed or double-crossed him.

The whole idea behind Claude is he's supposed to be a respresentation of ourselves. GTA III was going to have the ability to make names.

 

I think he's taken too literally to be honest. The first real pyscho in the GTA series is arguably Tommy. Claude could be anything anyone imagine because he's not tied down with a specific personality.

CJ did it of course I don't deny it. But still CJ ain't bad-ass as Tommy, Klebitz or Niko because he shows remorse even to the peds he kill.

It's likely because the Stories games were Playstation exclusives, and obviously lacked a lot of the features SA introduced. So obviously they aren't as popular as the others, which simply means less votes.

 

But yeah, people seem to confuse "psychotic" and "angry".

I don't understand how Niko has any votes. He doesn't mind getting his hands dirty like somebody else said but he certainly doesn't enjoy the murders unless that person has done something to him.

 

Claude, Tommy, Toni and CJ are the only ones who are in contention. (haven't played the top down games or Episodes from LC so someone else can fill me in on that one)

if you look at the other GTA Protagonists' crimes, well they were all dark

but their crimes were nothing when you compare them to Toni,

i mean,none of them slaughtered a man and chopped him and sold his meat in the guy's deli

and none of them blew up a neighborhood of a city for 5,000 dollars...

and none of them worked for a cannibalistic, necrophiliac, businessman -well, except for Claude-

and he never felt "real" remorse for his actions, and never felt empathy, nor guilt in any of his crimes

Toni is definetly the most psychopathic gta protagonist in the series

Claude, on the other hand is a psychopath in his character, he would do anything

for the right price

CJ, on the other hand, felt remorse, guilt, and empathy in some circumstances, like when he killed Ryder and Smoke

he felt remorse after killing them, he felt empathy for seeing kendl upset after the coworkers insulted her in the mission "Deconstruction"

But niko . For me he's just a person with PTSD

except for Toni, all he knows is Murder, murder, and Murder

this kinda applies to Claude, but he's not more psychopathic than Toni

I would rule Trevor out as being the most because he at least does have a personal moral code (even if it's a questionable one) and is aware of and sometimes emotionally affected by some of the wrong he does. We see how troubled he feels after killing Debra and Floyd for one example. Claude, Tommy, and especially Toni don't seem to have any emotion, remorse or to be negatively affected by any of the wrong they do whatsoever. Imo that makes them more psychopathic.

for me, here's the protagonists who i think are psychopaths:

Claude, Tommy, Toni, Niko, Johnny, and Trevor

but for the ones who are sociopaths for me

CJ, Vic Vance, Huang Lee, Luis Lopez, Michael De Santa, and Franklin Clinton

however, the online protagonist just depends on YOU, your mind, and your personality

for example, you want him a sociopath ?, sure why not,

you want him a psychopath ?, nao problema, you want him with APD (Antisocial Personality Disorder) ?

no big deal...,  the point is that the online protagonist is Custom

and not to get Confused, here's a little diffirence between sociopathy and psychopathy

sociopaths have lack of empathy, guilt and remorse, and at the same time,

these feelings can be present in some cases,

but psychopaths have Complete lack of empathy, guilt, and remorse

hope it sounded clear...

now for my ranking for psychopathy

#1- Toni Cipriani

#2- Claude Speed

#3- Tommy Vercetti

#4- Trevor Phillips

but for sociopathy ranking

#1- Carl Johnson

#2- Vic Vance -although i was about to give him the #1 spot but cj is more sociopathic-
