Although it was agreed that the PS3 players would accumulate responsibility into a team effort, we need someone to at least bare the burden of adding all participants and reserves as friends, as well as inviting them into the lobbies on the day of the event (for the initial games at least). In addition to this, we need at least one person to have an understanding of or access to the rules of the games. The last thing we want is miscommunication and players scrambling in confusion. Feel free to let me know who is willing to do what (hosting, score tracking, etc), so that way you guys can be prepared before the day of the event. As with every year, I will be messaging every participant and reserve a message via PM a few days before the event, just as a friendly reminder. Thanks for everyone who has shown an interest. A J Posted December 5, 2012 Share Posted December 5, 2012 Don't worry about it, because we've been involved in events together for the past several months, in some ways we're quite a well organised bunch anyways, even in events I've hosted, others have helped, so it will be a joint effort I am sure. I'm quite sure I have about 90% of the players signed up so far, Mr. Reaper might even have more, there's really no burden, so long as everyone tries to learn the modes, and perhaps everyone add's a few ideas of their own! GT: ssskora In preparation for the event, King (another participant) and myself tested all of these modes to the best of our ability, and we double checked all of the stipulations, preferences and settings; so in theory, we should be fine on that front. We did work on the balancing for a few of the modes as well, such as Death Rally, but feel free to give any of these games a trial run before the actual night. I won't be able to provide more time for testing at the moment however, so others will have to play with you, if they wish to. A J Posted December 8, 2012 Share Posted December 8, 2012 Been reading the little mode, 'Capture the Whip' , this sounds good, but how do you ensure the cars don't disappear in the base? or is it a case of using whatever car just spawns there. e.g. Cop Cars? I think it would be best if both teams, went and got a Sultan RS (unique car, no chance of confusing it with others!) But then a player on either side would have to take turns in, entering it - staying near it, to prevent it from disappearing? Anyways the best way to do this mode in my opinion would be two teams of 8, One in the North Alderney (Whip in rear car park) and the other in North Algonquin (Whip in garage)....it's nice long straight stretch between, and both stations are 'enclosed' making it a lot of fun. Just remember all, when the whip get's taken, you can't shoot at, or from it. You have to block it, to steal it back or destroy through ramming etc. !!!! Good job on the list Nic.
