They know exactly what they are doing, when we get the game im pretty sure we'll be blown away by how big and imersive los santos alone really is, excluding the countryside. They haven't shown other areas yet because they want you to experience new areas on your own 1st play of the game. I heard the city is as big as the old SA map. To me that is pretty huge. Take another look at the old heli screenshot, which only shows 1/4 of the city. Does it look small now? Thanks for agreeing with me on that. In the heli screenshot the buildings in the distance seem to keep going right to the horizon as far as you can see. LS is going to be massive and if you disagree, go and actually have a proper look at it again and don't base your judgment just on the trailer.
