Yeah I see no point in pre-ordering this either. In fact, over here they tend to sale the games before release already anyways. Would be silly to wait until release day to get a pre-order, and it certainly won't sell out either. The only reason I'd pre-order this is if it won't be uncut. I'm guessing you're talking Aus dollars here. Seems like your government loves to hit smokers as much as our do, which is fine (I buy cigarettes, but I don't smoke them as cigarettes ). However, they do the same to motorists in my country. I might be addicted to nicotine but the treasury is addicted to fuel tax. I just received a game that I bought along with my GTA V (360) pre-order from Tesco Direct. The game in question was only £11 & they sent it second class, which takes three times as long to arrive. Amazon have been good over the years with great prices and getting the item a few days early. The downside is that being partially deaf means I risk missing the delivery guy when he knocks. Tesco offers convenience but for a higher price which, I suppose, it kind of worth it but it all depends on whether they sell the special edition. When it's closer to the time I'll just balance out the pros and cons of all the deals and go for the best one. Simple as that. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

First of all(places where i can pre order) it costs more and what do you get? The normal edition! I understand that people pre-order the prestige editions of COD, but the pre-order versions i have seen has been pretty boring. Considering the extra money you pay. I have "heard" that in the US to get the game on the release date you have to pre-order. If that was the case in Norway i would pre-order, but it is not. If i pre-order it has to be a special offer. In that case, I don't trust pre-orders as they might not come through the mail at the day of release, especially since it's GTA V. Why not? ...just so you'd ask!....what a stupid question! what if he doesn't have money to buy console?...what if he doesn't like consoles at all? what if he prefers more comfortable controls aka keyboard+mouse? what if he likes to max out his graphics to make the game look top notch? what if he wants to install mods to replace dull vehicles, that R* created by default?...what if he wants to download trainer, that lets you enter cheat codes with press of two buttons (for ex. TAB+1) that is much easier to remember, than all those long cheat strings (no i didn't play GTAIV and i don't know how cheats work there...aside from the fact, that i'm concerned about cheat codes through the phone function...)...thats not to mention trainers usually has more awesome cheats, than those R* puts by default...if those reasons not enough for you then put your head inside the hole like a freaking ostrich and hide till the end of your days...
