I personally have the money held back and won't spend it unless it's absolutely necessary. I ordered from the official R* website. uh oh I had that same problem how long ago did you preorder it? if its been a few days id give them a call or submit a ticket. I preordered mines from the rockstar warehouse site and for some reason it took the money off my card twice and just said pending for like 4 days I complained called submitted numerous tickets and they eventually refunded my money back. They claim it was cause the address I put in was wrong but if that's the case how did they still take the money and have it pending? I got my money back earlier and just preordered with a different card and my order immediately went threw and I got a confirmation number. Not sure what your game shops situations are over there... but here in Uk, if you were to pay off in full @ Gamestation/Game, you are basicly putting down a £40 bet on Gamestation/Game still existing in spring! You preorder from the official rockstar warehouse site or any major retailer in america and its not a gamble you are definitely getting your copy of the game worst come to worst it could be late but you will definitely get your copy. Too each is own I thought it was a pretty cool idea to get the purchase out the way asap because regardless of when the game drops we all know everyone is going to buy it anyways. Thought that was pretty cool cause I don't feel like standing in line for it at the stores and I can sleep in and know my game will be in the mail the release day. Chance are that someone will offer a deal close to the release so I'll wait for that. I don't even know if I'll buy it instantly yet. I bought GTA IV a year after it was released. Got it for like £10 or something, bargain. Anyway if I have work or something to do then I won't buy it or else I will procrastinate a lot.
