Mr Rabbit Posted November 28, 2012 Share Posted November 28, 2012 I did a search and did not find a similar topic here if you are stuck on a game or part of a game, old or new, then post your question here, surely someone on this sub-forum would have played the same game, been through the same part and they may have some hints for you to help clear this troublesome level or obstacle. Or ask questions about a game itself, maybe a game you are considering buying but want more information. Kind of like the have a question topic in gen chat but with gaming as the topic, not anything. This can also be a topic for sharing hints, without answering a question, hints that people will find useful. For instance I will share some fallout 3 hints, some you may know some you may not, i think these are pretty much common knowledge but you never know 1 - when you exit the vault (oh yeah spoiler: you leave the vault), if you go down the road and look in the blue mail drop-box, you will find 3 hand grenades 2 - If you walk around the outside wall of megaton, to the south side, somewhere around there there is a hollowed out rock, in it is a sniper rifle. 3 - From leaving the vault go the opposite way to where the road goes, behind the mountain that vault 101 is embedded in (you go west) you will run into some raiders, deal wiht them and head to the building, a ruined farm barnhouse or something, inside is a hunting rifle and there you have it, a nice little starter arsenal. God I hate that game. you're stuck on it? simple case of knowing where to look and what to look for, but then again I say simple it is not that simple, if you read crime novels or watch shows like bones it is simple. Or have an interest in this kinda thing when looking for clues jsut look in logical places, the controler vibrates (if you have that setting on, I don't) when you are close to an interactable object and the music stops when you have all clues as for telling when people are lying, if they are twitching like a fly landed on their nose then they are lying, if you have evidence that directly contradicts them then you say lie, if not then doubt. most of the time logic is all you need but their are occasions when logic is f*cked with a stick wrapped with barbed wire Edited November 28, 2012 by NateShaw92 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
pyramid head Posted December 1, 2012 Share Posted December 1, 2012 Does anyone know where i can find the Saiga-12 in MGS4, i've been told i can buy it from Drebin i looked in his shop and couldn't find it, i want this gun as i hear it's the best weapon to use against Screaming Mantis on boss extreme difficulty setting. Can you help? lololol can you be more specific? anyway, if you need to know how to create sh*t, like a pikaxe, axe, sword etc etc fo here crafting basicly you need to make some kind of shelter by nightfall to hide from the beasts, explore the area and go into caves and mine mine mine. you will find enough coal to blacken up the entire ku klux klan quite soon, you will find a fair amount or idon for better tools and some gold (useless except for decoration) and if you go deep enough - diamonds (mega-tools and armour) when fighting creepers hit, retreat, hit and retreat, repeat til dead (to stop them blowing up taking your work with them do not rely on fire to clear a forest area - unless you want your map to look like the vietnam war then go right ahead give yourself a project to work towards, like a giant golden pyramid when you make a base camp and go wandering you will lose your base camp, so try to remember which direction you went in, use the sun setting and rising as a bearing. in surivival mode make a bed, sleep in bed and then you will spwn there when you die when you die you lose all your items, they stya there for 5 minutes - if it is loaded, if that section is not laoded, too far away maybe, then they will stay forever, i think the achievements walk you through what you need to do - sorta,, like making a wood pikaxe, mien some stone and ake a better pikaxe, find coal find iron etc etc. water and lava source blocks (that take up a full cube) make obsidean, you need diamond tools to mine obsidean but it is tough as hell, creepers won't get you in an obsidean house That's pretty much all I know look up blockexploration on youtube for some short video tutorials on pretty much everything Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
