Beez Posted December 3, 2012 Share Posted December 3, 2012 There could be a mission where you have to use scuba gear to infiltrate a bank, jewelry store or rich person's house via the canals in the Vespucci Canals area of Los Santos. Something along the lines of the opening heist in The Italian Job. I got the movie wrong and edited my earlier post. The movie I was thinking of was The Italian Job. I watched it again this weekend and the heist in beginning happens in Venice Italy and it's pretty easy to see how this could work as a mission with all three characters. Michael in scuba gear opening the safe, Trevor driving the decoy boat and Franklin shooting at the persuing boats. The rest of the movie takes place in Los Angeles which is where the main heist of the movie happens. If you have not seen the modern version of The Italian Job with Mark Whalberg and Charlize Theron do yourself a favor an check it out. It will give you tons of good GTA mission ideas. I don't expect a great deal from it, and probably won't spend a huge amount of time underwater, although i'm sure it will be required for certain missions. gta5freemode4eva Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 On land we can run, shoot, drive, fight, jump, do stunts, hunt, flee etc in air we can parachute jump, fly, fight, hover, hunt, flee etc on water we can, drive, shoot, hunt, flee etc in water we can swim... I do hope R* gives us something worth while because the list of things to do isn't that great. I'm really really really looking forward to GTA V but I'm not bothered about going underwater. It would be good if there were caves and caverns that are linked to the inner city kinda thing. Is this just me or is there something I've missed? Should I be excited about being able to dive?
