When you ask a taxi driver to take you to your desired location, and sometimes they drop you off half way down the road for no good reason. Is that a logistical issue in the way the game works or is it intentional as they want the taxi drivers to f*ck you off?

They say that they have to drop you off to the nearest location.

They can't enter the marker.

But it’s not just that, they even knock over lamp posts when they stop to let you out.

 

And today I actually sat thru a whole trip. By the end of it the taxi had scraped and hit so many cars it was half way towards conking out. Which gets me thinking, what actually happens when the taxi you are in conks out due to too many hits? ie Does the driver sit in the car or get out?

Sometimes these taxi drivers get on my nerves so bad. They will back up and come forward for no real reason. Sure they get stuck or have to turn around, but to essentially stay in the same spot is just annoying. I have even experienced the cab just sitting in the same spot and won't move.

 

I've had better luck of getting to my destination if I pan through the camera angles to get to the shot that follows the cab as we travel to the location.

I've seen them run over pedestrians and everything. One of them said (after running over three people in a row) "I'm glad I have no short term memory" or something. They usually hit lamp posts when they stop to pick Niko and his companions up.
