Shane_Dbns
In gta iv because you wore mainly jackets, Niko would pull out a gun from his Jacket. In Gta v you can see trevor wearing a white T-shirt, so how would R* explain pulling guns out of fresh air? I read somewhere that Franklin was driving with weapons in the trunk. In La noir cole would only carry a pistol and if you wanted a bigger weapon you had to get it out of the trunk. In max payne 3 you only could hold 2 one handed weapons and he would carry a bigger gun in his hand. So do you think R* are getting rid of the inventory system for a LA NOIR type system? (Ps: I left out RDR because he has holsters for them)
Coral_City
I enjoyed the MP3 inventory system. I'd much prefer carrying around two sidearms and a big gun -- but then again, on one hand, having multiple weapons have been a staple of the series, on another hand, they might be taking a whole new approach with it. Sizeway
Yeah how in the hell is trevor supposed to pull out a rocket launcher?
poiuytrew
i could see a system like a mixture between rdr and la noire, but i think given it being gta, they will stick to the guns appearing from nowhere vibe, maybe with an rdr wheel, so your not confined to one weapon of each type, but still, defying the laws of physics

Grand Chef Toto
I think and hope we'll have the good ol' GTA system. I like the RDR system... in RDR, just as I like the MP3 system, but in MP3. The GTA weapon inventory is fine and needs no tweaking.

H. León
This is my idea: You can carry with you: One pistol-machine gun One assault rifle One shotgun 5 grenades You can find more (limited) ammo in your car's trunk, aswell as more grenades, a rocket launcher and a minigun

In Gta v you can see trevor wearing a white T-shirt, so how would R* explain pulling guns out of fresh air? Its no different than in IV when I had Niko wear a sweatshirt. My idea for V would be to let the character hold 1 melee weapon, 2 guns of any kind, 20 grenades, and 1 extra spot for an rpg, flamethrower, or another gun if chosen. Then, any other weapons can be stored in safe houses, which you can drive to and pick up whenever you want (replacing a currently held weapon) so after you purchase them, you never have to repurchase them, unless you're busted. Racecarlock
Limiting one's ability to do cool stuff because of realism strikes me as having the ability to fly and still taking the bus to work. Weapon limits are for Mafia II. I say let us carry as much as we want without consequence. This is not a simulator. I want to carry a rocket launcher where ever I go and be able to take it out without having to have a duffel bag or a car there. Why? It only adds more pointless steps to getting the rocket launcher. Im on the edge of both sides. I think it would be great to be able to store weapons at safehouses, but I know theres times I'd want more weapons than I have. Maybe R* should add saving weapons as an option but not something thats forced.

aaronimpact
They could make it so that different types of clothing carry different weapons. If you wear just pants and a t-shirt you can only carry 2 handguns. But if you wear a jacket you can also carry a automatic rifle.
DickieM
this is a good idea. We should need a jacket/trench coat to carry long rifles. I'd love to have realistic benefits of concealed carry pistols. Imagine drawing a pocketlite from your jeans! GTA's never had a

ThisIsHorosho
To me R* are going this way, but I liked the hold 8 guns at a time system if they'll pull this sh*t i won't buy GTAV, i SWEAAR having all weapons at once is VERY important to me!, if i'm not able to choose whatever the f*ck i want whenver the F8ck i want, then i have no reasons to play it!...screw this! i repeat it once again, regardless of how they are making this game look and play, regardless of size of the map, underwater exploration and many other things, weapons system is IMPORTANT to me to a sell point!...no classic inventory = no buy... Lucky 13
I want to carry 10 weapons like a boss ! like in previous gta's. Though gta was never meant to be realistic
a. outlandish
why not two different options? classic gta style, and realistic style. and if it wont then classic inventory must be. because we realists always may pretend. then it'll be fair. cause this is game, and every person who will buy the game will have right to have a fun. period ;-) note: i think gameplay mechanics have to be realistic, but story, missions will be epic as rodriguez movie, crazy and believeable as tarantino movie, hillarious as ritchie movie and some sh*t like bonds, bournes, die hard scaled action. vivalavendredi
Of course the "carry more weapons then Schwarzenegger" System in GTA is not realistic. But I do not want GTA to be realistic. In real life someone messsing around on the streets with weapons wouldn't survive if more than 10 cops are around. I don't want real life. I want a parody of life. And that's GTA.
