Supercrammer Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I dont want to troll or cast any negative light on GTA, but if any of you remember, GTA IV was set to release in Oct. 2007 but then was delayed a whole 6 months until April 2008 so they can polish the game. Heres an article from IGN. http://www.ign.com/articles/2007/08/02/gra...auto-iv-delayed So what will you ladies and gentlemen do if R* decides to delay GTA another 6 months to polish it and release it in Oct. 2013. After March, I can't find the topics atm, but from what I remember they were initially expecting 1.8 billion in revenue by the end of the first fiscal quarter of 2013, they moved it to Spring post-March. With GTA V they still haven't announced an exact release date and waited till they though the game was about 6 months from being done to say "spring". However seeing as how TTWO expected their current fiscal year used to be projected at $1.8 billion, and now it's significantly less, I'd say the gay has already been delayed. It was included in profit forecasts for the year to March 2013, so it was definitely expected to be released before 31 March 13, and now its not, as an earlier post inllustrated. Now its coming out at some point after 1st April but still in spring, so between 1st April and 21 June basically. I suspect towards the end of that window.
