That would take several years, and they wouldn't have spent money on a marketing campaign and announced a (vague) release date if they were going to then postpone it by several years. There's a good chance they already have dev kits for Xbox720 and/or PS4 though, incidentally. I imagine the next game they put out will be for the next gen, and probably won't be a GTA. Here are my ideas for next gen Rockstar games Red Dead...something Manhunt 3 GTA 6 with a re imagined Vice City or something in like 5-6 years Bully 2 ...anyone else? Dev kits for next gen consoles I believe have already been sent out atleast beta's. Rockstar will take a vacay after release of V then begin developing the next gen GTA...we've seen this before. The game is build on current gen, the quality of the game belongs on this gen, this game is expected to sell 20 million copies in one year, that can only happen right now when there are 70 million ps3's sold and 66 million 360's. I won't be buying one until a couple years later unless there is a major difference or a really good game to sell me on. I made that mistake with PS3 & 360 and I ain't doing that again. Keyword being speculation, They wouldn't hold the game back on the off chance that a wild console will appear. Besides we will only learn of the new console's next year (at least) and then they'll be ready to market the year (or 2) after. We won't be told about them and then be able to buy them straight away.
