Rare Vehicle Collecting/Questions

Hello fellow "Rare Vehicles of Vice City" collectors!

 

I recently found this great saved game collection that includes all the rare cars found in VC, [as well as GTA3 & SA from the looks of it, but don't have the PC versions of those to confirm]:

 

A lot of these I remember from the Xbox version as well (except the "Black Washingtons" were never black in my game during that mission) But there are a few I'm not sure of:

Unless there's a slight color variation I know I've had blue mavericks spawn at the mansion, and the patriot at the film studio seems identical to the one from the mission, so I'm unsure of their status as "rare vehicles"...

Blue Maverick is indeed rare, you cannot get this colours in-game.

As for Patriot, the video author's comment reads "this patriot has unique second color. this color is not visible in game".

That 2nd color available in Patriot is only visible with trainer. That Blue Maverick is unique too, other Mavericks are a bit different color. I don't know why you never had Black Washingtons in mission(are you sure you are not using mods/cheats?), I have played game many times and I always had black ones, never had any other color.

The Washington's in the missions are always black and getting them is somewhat challenging. But blue Mavericks are common in my save. They spawn on top of Vercetti mansion and Hyman condo along with other colors..

@ZoomZoom blue Mavericks which spawns at Vercetti Estate are a bit different color from that one from Loose Ends , so it's unique. It's like that Rosenberg's Admiral from first mission, it's different color from that one which spawns at the mansion.

OK thanks....Yeah I knew about the Admirals..Rosie's one is snow white while Diaz's one is slightly grey..

It way more fun to collect vehicles which game offers in my opinion. They are probably not meant to be obtainable, but collecting them is certainly fun thing to do. With modding you can get pretty much everything, and that gets boring after while.

I was playing the XBox version, and they always were white/grey. The Washingtons are black on my copy of the PC version though!

 

I read the Love Fist Limo was rare too, but that's only on the PS2, on the PC & XBox, it spawns outside the VRock building. I think the Hearse is still rare though, I've never seen it spawn by the Funeral home on the PC or XBox

At 0:46, you can see the white Washington. I dunno why it's like that on the Xbox, but it's interesting.

That's strange. Why did they change such a minor not important thing .
