I'm personally going to roleplay as a trucker with Trevor and as a policeman with Franklin. Not sure about Michael though. "Roleplaying is a method of playing games where the player makes up their own storyline and experience. This method of gameplay is favoured by many over simply completing the storyline missions, and even side missions. In GTA games, there are many opportunities for pretending the player or protagonist has a job, such as being a police officer, FBI agent, airline pilot, limousine chauffeur, drug runner or mass murderer. There is also a lot of scope for acting like real life, such as eating, going to entertainment venues, and purchasing vehicles/property rather than stealing. Some players enjoy roleplay as it makes the game more realistic, often giving them an insight into a life they would prefer to have, or can look forward to when they're older. Other players enjoy the opportunity to do things they can't do in real life." Supacoupe Posted November 27, 2012 Share Posted November 27, 2012 First it will be the movie Unstoppable with Denzel Washington (Franklin) taking trains to breakneck speeds or just generally walking on top of them while moving attempting to survive not falling off. The second will probably be as some type of pilot considering we can fly huge jets, but if only small jets, it will be Top Gun. I can just see myself now flying low in the valley hugging the terrain shooting any and everything. The third will be either ambulance or firefighter if they bring that back. Last, but not least, an all world street racer in the night scene. R* has to put that in considering this is LA with all of the West Coast Customs and SEMA shows. This is a good thread IMO. Probably take it as it goes I wanna get used to the game and play a few missions and what not first before I start free roaming and playing realistic. Franklin will be used to Be the young guy who lives a youthful life with his girl..Going to the beach, Repo jobs, Doing dumb sh*t with lamar and so on..... Probably because Rockstar games are so flexible and dynamic that they cater to a roleplayer. GTA V will most likely have those qualities as well. When they try and act bad, that's when I climb outta my truck and slaughter the whole neighborhood like a psycho crank head. I even kill their dog. Then I will be a trucker, driving the open road, delivering stuff until I get bored and run it off a cliff. Or, if it's a gas tanker, I will park it by a police station, leave a trail of gas to it....and light it. Sit back and watch the action. Hell, I might even be a do-gooder and call the fire department for'em. Then I'll ride an ATV downtown and do drive-bys while laughing like a maniac. I play and react to the world according to how I feel the vibe of each protagonist actually is to me, for instance im playing IV right now and in the early stages during Hove Beach. Niko in that era of the game is very poor and running small odd jobs for the gangster of the city. I dress him accordingly in very average clothes and only kill if its necessary for Niko to properly live in a his new country. When he does kill, I imagine he would dress in glasses and a hat to hide his face from investigative eyes as he may be wanted and on the run. However true RP for me would come in the multiplayer open world section where I can build the look of my character from the ground up and give him his own story. I think with the openness of this new game it will give room for awesome story lines people could make and different crew. I think for myself Im going to have to go with a getaway driver/drug runner who street races on the side, as I absolutely love how focused they seem to be on making the driving in the game very evolved. And if possible, have Chop sitting in the passenger seat usually my first role plays are road trips through the towns and world, tryna keep my car fresh, following road rules, pretending to get gas, exploring, parking my car, pretending to buy stuff, eating, etc. I feel so embarrassed about it so I don't tell anyone I like doing that stuff in gta lol. When it comes out on PC the modding community will create something like LCPDFR mod for GTA 5 and it will be amazing. especially with custom skins of real life police cars. For exemple, I'm playing GTA IV + NHL 13 + NBA 2K13 & with the same story. Luis Lopez: He's the agent of my NBA 2k13 player... He's negotiating the contracts, the sponses & all that. He's also managing a few rappers, he's been working for Niko since 2 years. Niko Bellic: Niko is a Russian boss in Liberty City. Everybody's working for him: The mafia, the gangs & also the Bikers... Most of the time he's protected by the Lost but he ain't scare to use his guns. Johny Klebitz: Main bodyguard of Niko. He's the kind of guy who's going to give you a beatdown if you're not paying your debts. He's having a son who's playing in the QMJHL & might a chance to play in the NHL 1 day.
